How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Might need to pull the kitchen door a bit to get the door bolt to lock properly.
Very good directions to operate the 2 door keypads. Beds were super comfortable. There is an iron and board too. Love the garage for extra safety at night.

Felt there was some lack of cleaning, particularly the bathroom as the floor had hair on it, at some point, someone stayed there with false eyelashes as those could been seen around the bathroom and the floor felt a bit sticky.
Great location for quick access to so many attractions. It was very nice to be able to park our rental vehicle in a garage and the beds were comfortable

The dust under the bed was ridiculous like it hasn't been cleaned for a crazy amount of time. I dropped my chapstick and it rolled under the bed. Bathroom was small but really nicely done. I wasn't so sure about the neighborhood but it ended up good.
The location was close to everything. I would rent this apartment again if I were to come back to Cleveland.

The area around the apartment is run down and has many homes that are not kept up. The garage spot would not hold a larger SUV or truck.
The apartment was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. It had a garage space for a medium size car.

The only thing would be that theres only one tv and it not in either of the bedrooms was a small letdown but we checked in so late there wasn’t much to dislike.
8 mins from downtown, staff was quick with any questions I had throughout the whole process.

I wish the beds were bigger and more stable. We also couldn’t find body wash. We could hear the other tenants talking in the morning.
The location is very good. 6-7 minutes to downtown and 3 minutes to west side market where people are at during the weekend. There’s a garage and a driveway for parking. There are in unit washer dryer tho we didn’t get to use them. Bed linens and towels are clean. Quiet at night.

The dryer was a little loud, but you don't have to use it.
Everything was exactly like the pictures, I was skeptical of the garage from previous reviews but found it big enough to fit my Chevy Equinox in with no problems. The area did have a lot of traffic from the neighbors being out and about but they all were pretty friendly. The host was quick to respond when needed. I would stay again.

The other homes nearby are a little rundown not owners fault.
Location was great close to everything. All the amenities that you could need were there. Very helpful and responsive owner! We enjoyed our stay.

Neighborhood was a bit sketchy. Heard gunshots at about 10:30pm so a little frightening. There was enough coffeemate for one cup of coffee and plenty of sugar, but the coffee container was empty 😔. Would've been nice to have a cup in the morning.
Was relatively clean. It was nice to have 2 private bedrooms. Good price.

Both bedrooms have bedbugs. This is the biggest problem. I could NOT have a comfortable night at any bedroom during the three nights. I suggest that the owner or property manager should address this issue before it is leased to the next client.
The space is large including a kitchen, a living room, a garage and two bedrooms. The kitchen utensils all are available although I almost never used them.

When we arrived at the property we knew right away this is not a location we’d stay. Abandoned house everywhere around the neighborhood. A meth-head looking lady knocked on the window of the car while we were on the street at the property and asking $20 for her hair cut. We called booking.com right away and tried to cancel the reservation. Guess what, the owner won’t agree so we have to pay cancellation fee almost as much as the whole payment. We called some local friend and asked about this area. All we heard was NO.

Only negative is the bathroom is on the 2nd floor. Otherwise very great space!

No TV in bedroom. A TV in the bedroom would make this place perfect. Other than that there is no problem with this place.
Very well kept and clean. Has a modern updated feel to the house. More spacious than a hotel room and more private. I highly recommend this place to all who visit Cleveland. Is only a short couple mile drive from all things fun in cleveland ohio.
