Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesNot very sound proof. Heard neighbors and anyone walking halls. Very noisy refrigerator ended up unplugging it to sleep. Was so looking forward to a hot soak after long drive but no plug for tub. Breakfast was ok but same menu both days.

United StatesThere was one chair in the family suite, why? We had no table to eat around. Basically there were beds. The outside security light kept the room from being dark. Even with the curtains and black out panels pulled it was visible.
The staff and the breakfast were great. We had the pool almost entirely to ourselves!

United StatesVery old hotel with fresh stucco siding and new lobby. Elevator is from the 70s you walk through the hall and can hear everything going on in the rooms there were 2 guys smoking weed in the hallway the whole place smelled like a public bathroom. Very thin walls.

United StatesThere were some rough finishes in the remodeling of the room. The bathtub leaked nonstop and we could hear the guests above us flush their toilet. There were also exposed pipes down the hallway to our room, like, drywall was missing and plumbing exposed.
The location was great for us. Near some shopping, restaurants and right off the freeway. Lobby was very nice, staff was helpful.

United StatesThey need to add towel bars to keep towels off floors. We did not have consistent maid service during our stay-you need to keep on top of that area.
The hotel is undergoing remodeling and our room was newly updated. The bed was excellent, A/C very good, had TV, WIFI, Mini Fridge and Microwave. No coffee service. The fridge was nice and quiet. No outside noise issues. We stayed for 5 nights. I would like to have them add towel bars for the sink and shower area. Breakfast service was good.

United StatesStaff while not rude didn't seem to really know what was going on. Judging by the hallway you'd think the rooms would be terrible...they are just fine. Dont plan on breakfast, its basically Coffee and Debbie Cakes. I wouldn't advise against booking. If you just need a night's sleep and your on your way, this will do.
Location wasn't terrible. Room was clean, adequate and had what you needed. This was just an incredibly average experience. For a hotel under $100 its just fine, probably a bargain. Just don't expect Hilton Garden Inn at this price.

United StatesI did not like the fact that we woke up to aunt's in the bed on the nightstand on the wall and all in our personal items. Room 101 I also didn't like when we were switched to another room room 206, the toilet was clogged and when I called for service I had to physically go down to the front desk and get a plunger and literally plunged the toilet myself and was asked to return the plunger.
