Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

FranceStayed 2 nights in a tiny bedroom (Forever Spring), absolutely not suitable for a week stay. No closets, standard bed. Glad we were able to move to a cottage in front for the rest of our stay.
We just enjoyed our stay at Windemere Inn by the sea very much. Great location, right on a fabulous beach, friendly staff, excellent breakfast.

United KingdomI stayed at the Windermere twice over two weeks on my latest trip abroad while i was in Florida. I have been travelling to Florida for 15 years now and this is the first time I have ever stayed there. What was i thinking?? Without doubt this is the nicest establishment I have ever stayed at. In Florida or anywhere else for that matter. My time there was amazing. The Inn was super clean and well run. The little chocolates in the room were tasty. The breakfasts by Anna (the best Innkeeper on the Eastern Seaboard) were like the super best ever. Snacks and drinks galore in the common area. The beach was right out back. Next to lots of good food for lunch and dinner too. And the Koi Pond was super fun especially at night with all the pretty lights. I can’t wait to come back! If I could rate 10 stars i would.

United StatesThe noise from the nearby road is noticeable at times, but there are so many reasons to recommend Windemere Inn, it's not a significant issue overall.
Excellent service, warm welcome, personal touches, generous food and beverage offerings. Windemere's excellent location, homey feel, and most of all the excellent manager of Windemere Inn made us feel special and well attended to for the duration of our short stay. We would love to return for special occasions.

United StatesParking is limited, but the visitors cooperated with each other, and everyone was accommodated. The manager, Bonnie, even offered to move her car for me.
The most enjoyable parts of my visit, came from my interaction with the manager, Bonnie. She was professional yet welcoming, and her concern for the guests was genuine and always on display. Breakfast was delicious and was obviously prepared by caring hands. I will definitely return to Windemere Inn by the Sea. My only regret is that Bonnie plans to retire soon; Her quiet, gracious hospitality will be missed.

The breakfasts were gourmet and delish! The beach front location cannot be beat! All the beach gear was provided too, towels, chairs and even a tote bag. Home-made chocolate cookies daily. Walking distance to a cute town to shop or have dinner. Thank you Bonnie and Anna!

Excellent, filling breakfast all five mornings, and the rooms were cheerful and comfortable. The location was perfect for our needs (visiting family nearby). And the manager, Bonnie, was a hostess extraordinaire. She made us feel welcome. If we travel to the Space Coast again in the future, we will definitely stay at the Windemere Inn.
