The coffee in the breakfast area was not good each of the days we were there. We needed a decent cup of coffee. The sofa in the lobby looked old and worn. It needs to be replaced.

The location of the Wingate was very convenient. The room was clean and that is very important. The hotel offered housekeeping which is expected and appreciated. The lobby area was clean as well.

I arrived in early evening, perhaps before many others. This is an interior hotel. They put me in a room that was upstairs and 2 long hallways away. It was a hike with luggage and a better location that was closer to the single entry hall would have been more convenient. What were they thinking? No side or back entrances were working with keycard.

The facility was quite large and very clean. There was a refrigerator (no freezer) and other comforts. The layout of the room included a small sitting area with comfy chair. There was an indoor pool and it was open until 10pm. The desk staff was very nice, if a little hard to understand in English. The bed was very comfortable.

Lack of privacy was distressing - the curtains were not capable of closing! The room faced the rear of the property, and the light from the university was very bright, in addition to the lack of privacy. We tried to make do by using the clips on the hangers to hold the decorative curtains closed, but it was not a satisfactory solution. I would never stay there agin because of this.

The breakfast buffet was good and very well-serviced.

No clean comforters for the beds. 1st room smelled very badly . Kindly moved to a 2nd room door looked like it had been broken into before. No clean comforters for the beds. I was given a extra blanket. Hallway smelled like weed.

The lady working breakfast was rude both days we were there. I get she was overwhelmed but she did not need to keep telling us. Also, she was snappy with guests There was a large group having a party with lots of alcohol and you could smell the alcohol when you walked into the front doors. They were loud and we had to turn out TV up to drown them out.

Most staff was extremely nice. Easy to get to places. Pool had nice hours.

Breakfast was good! Nice variety of choices. View- Back parking lot, parked shipping container. View was not a major factor as I was busy all day. Lighting-Was adequate, but controls were not obvious. Desk chair - I worked at my computer for several hours while in facility, chair was rigid, very uncomfortable. Bed-Very Comfortable!

The beds were very firm (hard), everyone in our party commented about that. Swimming pool area was a disappointment, pool room was old and bare bones. There may have been a hot tub at onetime, need to bring it back.

Staff was super-nice and helpful - delightful to work with. Room was clean and the location is perfect for where I need to get to in the Dayton-Fairborn-Beavercreek area. Can't beat the price!

The hot water took forever to heat up in the shower then burned when it did. Parking wasn’t great and the side door entrance was closed. The breakfast was hard stale bagels.

The girl that checked us in was so nice! The location was great and it was very clean.
