Everything was good. The Staff, Location, the room, the onsen, breakfast...all are wonderful. I have problem with my heavy luggage but the nice young female staff helped me. The hotel is right across Kusatsu bus terminal (less then 1 minute walk), and there is a 2-minutes-walk shortcut to Yubatake. There is a convenience store right in front and a restaurant next door. There is no shower or bathtub in the toilet in guest-room. But who needs those when you have an onsen with showering area.

This was one of my favourite stays during my trip to Japan! Our twin room was cosy, comfortable and so clean. The beds were the comfiest we had in Japan; I had the most relaxing sleep while staying here. We absolutely loved the breakfast we had, and everyone at the hotel was so kind and friendly. Their hospitality was the highlight of the trip! We stayed two nights and the chef made us a different meal each morning, and took us through the dishes as he brought them to us, and we were given delicious welcome sweets and matcha when we arrived. The breakfast room was so cosy with a fireplace and free coffee and tea. The location is excellent and easy to find; it was only a couple of minutes walk to the bus terminal and to the Yubatake, which is where most of the shops and restaurants are located. The four private onsen are also wonderful. We got to try out two, and we never found that we had to wait or miss out on using one of them when we wanted to. I loved the little baskets containing towels, pyjamas and toiletries that we were given. There are plenty of toiletries available in each of the onsen, and the pyjamas were so comfortable I wish I could have brought a pair home!

everything from the staff, the room, onsen and over all everything on the property was amazing! the staff were so attentive, pleasant and I couldn’t of asked for a better stay. they even drove us to the bus station when we left because it was raining! the food was great and definitely not something to skip out on. i purchased a diy stool making kit and they were great about explaining how to make it and packaging it for traveling!

Hotel was well located for Yubatake streets and centre. Also other onsen were within reach of the hotel (up to 10 minutes walk), although the hotel had their own onsen which we used. The meals were amazing (we had the half board option), with so much choice we couldn't eat it all. The quality was very good with chefs cooking some of the options in front of you. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially at meal times and reception giving us directions. An excellent hotel for Kusatsu Onsen, and an amazing experience.

The location was great with Sainokawara park practically next door and a few popular restaurants within a 5 minute walk of the accomodation. Miki-san was a lovely host and made me feel at home. The traditional Japanese style breakfast was also delicious.

玄関の靴を見て宿泊者の多さにビックリする程、他者の音が聞こえず。湯巡りに行くにも気兼ねなく外出が出来た。湯畑からも近いのに静か。素泊まりで朝食だけ別料金で頂いたがパンが最高でした。
