A tradition of hospitality Enjoy the full hotel experience… A total experience. That is what we create in Hotel Cosmopolite. A nice room is the basis, but we go much further.

There was one room with fridge, couch, microwave and cutlery to eat which is very practical for a weekend stayin, as well as a tv; and a second room with a double bed and small TV. The bathroom was nice with big shower.
The staff was fantastic and very helpful.
Breakfast was served downstairs and had everything (eggs, cereal, croissants, bread, ham & cheese...)

The old town is small but very attractive and there are a few interesting things to see there, many connected to the First World War. The beach is very nice. There is a nature reserve that you can get to by the free ferry which is worth going to, and there are lots of walks that you could do. Beyond that there isn't a lot to keep you in Nieuwpoort, so it is a great benefit that you can take the coastal tram from Nieuwpoort so you can explore other places.

It was a short stay but I enjoyed it like always.
It was a short stay but I enjoyed it like always.
One of my favourite places at the Belgian coast because of the dike (no cars and a lot of space), the mouth of river Ijzer, the history of the world wars (mainly world war I) and the multiple walking possibilities.
I've been there many times and planning to go back for many times.

If you don’t go to Nieuwpoort Bad but to the Nieuwpoort town area or to Koksijde, you may be better off. Nieuwpoort Bad is a wannabe-look rich shopping strip with plenty of places to leave your money. There are better beaches along the ‚Kust‘, with more normal crowd.

Great walks along the beach and seafront to marina.
Great walks along the beach and seafront to marina. Nieuwpoort has lots of great shops if that’s what you like doing. Don’t forget to visit the old town with the Nieuwpoort Stad Market square and appreciate the Flemish architecture.

Lovely beach with nice restaurants and bars.
Lovely beach with nice restaurants and bars. Quite upmarket shops were a surprise. Like most of this coast buildings on the front built in about 1960’s so not very attractive, but lovely place to relax for a few days.
Breakfast was delicious with different types of fresh bread, jam, cold meats and cheese. The freshly cooked omelette was the best I’ve ever had and the owners were able to cater for food allergies. As the restaurant was closed on the Monday, we were able to order fresh pizzas made in their own pizza oven which were delivered to us. Parking right outside the door to the apartment was great. The village is very pleasant to walk around and close to Nieuwpoort. Very friendly and helpful staff.
We came to Belgium to attend a concert nearby - the location was perfect - 20min by car to the venue & just a few meters to the beach…
Lots of parking spaces available nearby as well - we chose the gated Promenade Parking garage for about 18€/day 👍🏻
Definetely need to highlight the breakfast buffet & the staff - especially Sabine from reception was so kind and helpful / we really appreciated the warm welcome & the wonderful service!
The apartment was a beauty. The design furniture and all the attention for details was just unmatched. Things we loved: welcome package with a small snack, lovely (local) drinks in the fridge, beautiful furniture, design is just unreal, roof terrace is perfect (all day sun) and I can go on and on..
It's just a lovely place to relax, enjoy what Nieuwpoort has to offer and have a lovely stroll around the city and the coast
Really enjoyed the quality of the room: absolutely much better than any other 2 stars hotel I know. Worth a good 3 stars by any standard. The service of the team is equally AWESOME. The breakfast is great. I wish many 3 stars/ 4 stars hotels would have that level of choice and quality
Location and room were okay, the electronic access code did not work properly and I had to stay outside in the car with my family (from 23.20 till 1.30 am) until the Ibis hotel on the domain found a housekeeper to let us in
The apartment was very spacious, practical and clean. The kitchen was fully equipped. It was situated centrally between bad and stad. Close to the Schelde and the Maritiem park. We really enjoyed our stay at Nieuwpoort.
It was the second year we staid there when visiting family in Nieuwpoort. The location is fantastic. Staff extremely friendly. Everything was just perfect. We will definitely stay there next year again.
The location of the hotel is fantastic, very close to the beach. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Clean and comfortable rooms. A very extensive breakfast.
