This is a great location and once they are finished with the restoration it will be exceptional! I love the idea of turning a farmstead into varying self catering accommodations. The setting was perfect! The room we stayed in was huge! It was clean, the shower had great water pressure and temperature control. The bed was comfy too. We enjoyed walking around the property. There's a washer and dryer on-site too that appears to be free to use.

Great wee stay! The lodge was all toasty for us arriving. Beds very comfy. Had everything we needed. All utensils for cooking are provided, location was great. Very cosy! Also Karen who dealt with our stay was very helpful. Would definitely stay again!

The facilities are second to none, no expense has been spared and everything has been thought of for his guests. In particular, the sauna and hot tub. Very peaceful surroundings, nice walks, 3 minute drive into the town or 20 minutes for other towns/villages. It was the most peaceful break we have had and would not hesitate to go back in the future. Thank you.

Its like being in the "middle of nowhere"..peaceful...yet not too far away from Balloch or Drymen. "The Ben" caters for everything, that you would for your stay...You only really need to provide the food . Eddie, is really friendly and approaching, nothing is any bother. I have to also say, the hot tub (in its own wee house), is an understated luxury...sitting in there, letting the world go by...and NO midges!!! ACE!!
