The apartment was perfect, very spacious and clean and with beautiful views over the rolling hills and down to Hauterives. It was also totally peaceful as it was away from the town but still very close if you wished to dine out or go to the village for any other reason. There was free wifi available and ample free parking on the property.

For a small cottage, the lounge/dining room is very spacious and light, with patio doors onto the south facing terrace, which is next to a river over the wall. The view across the fields is lovely. The kitchen is very well equipped and the boundary is secure which was ideal for our labrador. The house and the grounds are immaculate and the setting is delightful. Jean-Claude Longere was very kind and helpful about the local area. There are bicycles available.

We ordered the dinner meal and it was delicious vegetarian meal. Bed was comfortable and all the equipment in the accommodation were in great condition. We would return there if in the region and maybe get a massage next time.
