I booked two twin rooms at Campanile Swindon through Booking.com on behalf of three men who were there for business overnight stays.
They are poor rooms for twin rooms. There is no room for two single men to move around and sleep let alone unpack. No hot water for the shower on first night, I was told they should have complained but with what they had, they left it for me to sort the next morning, so I was complaining instead on Tuesday at 9.46 am. then chased again, when the manager rang me back he said he was on out of the hotel and he had been asked to call me 45 minutes before which was at the time of my second call, what happened to the first call at 9.46 am he was going to call me back. I could not leave the men as they were. The manager sorted out new rooms, which I would like to say he is very good to the point I would say a credit to the company nothing else is.
It is false advertising of rooms; the pictures do not give a true picture of the rooms you provide. The lads sent me photos of the room they were staying in. BAD. SMALL. The running shower was cold on the first night as I explained. Your photos on the site make the room look bright and airy but in fact they are bad, no room at all and dull and uninviting.

I really liked Swindon. I traveled by train. Train was on time, it was clean, kept informed of where we were, easy to get tickets, all simple no probs. If you wanted to travel by bus it’s a stone throw away from the train station. A short walk to the city centre. Plenty of shops to spend your money in. Plenty of place to eat. I sat in cafe and had a jacket potato and a tea £10 bargin! All good. Would definitely return.

We didn't have time to explore very much on a one night trip, but we were impressed with the cycle infrastructure and the variety of restaurants and pubs, though some areas of the town were a little run down and shady.
The bigWe rode through Lydiard park and were very impressed with it as a nice destination. Seemed like a lovely place to go with friends and family for a picnic and a walk or to jog or cycle around.

I used to live in Swindon and there are parts to avoid, ann the bottom of town isn't what it used to be, but for a great night out, there is Old Town. For country walks there is Lydiard Park and Coate Water. The surrounding villages and towns and close to the Cotswolds, Swindon is great for a central point

MacArthur Glenn outlet was good. Homesense too
Swindon has too many terrible drivers, who drive too fast & too close. There need to be traffic calming measures & more traffic lights.
Terrible, inconsiderate drivers can't be trusted to obey rules & use roundabouts properly.

The ambiance and excellent food exceeded our expectations.
The ambiance and excellent food exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and fully equipped. The only negative was the bed was slightly smaller than a double which was a shame as a king size would have easily fitted.
This is a proper 'studio' type apartment: a bedroom, shower-toilet room, and a lounge-kitchen, with a cosy, outside garden area screened from the owner's garden for a little privacy. Great facilities, friendly and helpful hostess, comfortable bed, and a good, quiet, village location, east of Swindon, but only minutes from the A419 junction. Good access for the M4 motorway. Off-road parking at property in quiet cul-de-sac. I would definitely stay at The Lilypad again.
I am a regular Worldwide user of hotels and serviced accommodation through Booking.com and this location was one of the very best. Excellent room (en suite) free parking right outside the property, free high speed internet and an excellent breakfast to boot. DO NOT waste your money on a hotel chain if you are staying in Swindon as this has everything you need (at an extremely competitive price) I will be using this place again on future business in the area.
I loved this place so much!! The host is so wonderful: helpful, respectful, accommodating, and highly communicative. The apartment was topnotch, all high quality, and beautifully designed. The beds were so comfy that I wanted to take mine with me!!! I have been traveling around the world since January of this year, and I definitely would place this space in the top 3 of my favorites. I would not hesitate to book this for a place in Swindon!!!
I booked this stay for a night while up shopping in Swindon. Hotel was great. Had plenty of parking & our room actually over looked the car park so could keep check on the car. We was gutted we hadn't brought our swim stuff to use the facilities. Staff was friendly & very accommodating. Would definitely recommend. & would definitely stay again.
Hotel was about 15min drive from Swindon shopping outlet & about 45 min drive to Bath.
I’ve been working a few weekends nearby and find rooms do become available at the last minute which is handy. I’ve always had a comfortable stay here, usually for a few hours overnight. Due to this, I don’t usually get a chance to explore the property or sample the menu. Reviews are quite mixed regarding the food fare so may eventually try it if back in the vicinity. This hotel has always provided a relatively pleasant stay.
Normally stay at The Premier Inn Swindon West M4 Junction 16. The Holiday Inn offered a better deal. Lovely room clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly Connor on reception and Flo at breakfast who was kind, friendly and couldn't do enough for us she should be commended. Lovely hotel would definitely stay here again
Windows are single glazed metal frames from the 1980's. Draughty, cold and noisy.
Air Con didn't work, turned itself off after 30 seconds. Tried multiple times, gave up in the end as the cold, old window provided free ventilation even when closed.
Hotel needs a major upgrade and renovation.
Nice self service breakfast - good choice. Easy parking in nearby railway station (you can pull up outside hotel to drop stuff off) Good location for town centre (2 minute walk)
Places to eat on the doorstep. We ate at the Greek Olive - I would highly recommend it.
The location is great... Very well positioned for walking around Swindon, if you like walking (which we do). Close to shops, local attractions e.g. Steam Museum, etc and only 10mins up Victoria Road to the Old Town. Preferable to staying in a hotel, I would say.
The breakfast was delicious. The location is somewhat off the beaten track BUT well worth the easy bus ride from downtown Swindon and the bus stop is right outside the door. I highly recommend this place
Finding a farmhouse in the centre of Swindon with ample parking, spacious room and friendly staff. A pleasant change from cheap hotel chains but at excellent price. The breakfast was awesome.
One of the nicest hotels in Swindon. Very well appointed room, good facilities and the gentleman at reception gave us free cupcakes on arrival! Free parking was a nice touch as well.
Lovely garden with plenty of vegetation, short car ride from Swindon.
Super friendly staff provided excellent service including checkin and dining.
Bed is comfy
We stayed at the King's to be close to the Swindon bus station for shuttle bus to Raf Fairford. It was ideal for being close enough to the bus station to walk.
We were very impressed with our clean and spacious room..........I particularly liked the privacy of our small terrace
We did not eat food at the hotel
