Set in Avebury, 16 km from Lydiard Park, Elderbrook House offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Ben and Cody are the loveliest couple- both have a long background in the hotel business. They know what they're doing and it shows. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The place was quiet as could be. The 2 mile walk to the standing stones was beautiful and became part of the adventure. Cody and Ben even came to pick us up after both of our days in Avebury. Breakfasts were lavish, fresh and cooked to perfection. Their little girl was adorable and warmed our hearts. Even their dog Maya is a sweetheart. When we left, they gave us a bag of goodies to take for our journey. Such kind and considerate people. We would come back to stay in a heartbeat. I really can’t recommend Elderbrook House strongly enough. And remember, the pub at Elderbrook House will open shortly.

We were a family of 4, my husband, myself and my in-laws. The rooms are very beautiful, clean and have a unique character. The restaurant and bar are truly beautiful and convenient. Staff is exceptional and very helpful. We asked the owner if we could have breakfast at 8am instead of 9am, she immidiatley accepted and served us home-made breakfast on saturday and sunday. The food both breakfast and dinner were satisfying and good portions. I would recommend this inn because it feels like home.

From 2,227 Kč per nightThe inn is off the beaten track and was chosen by us as a base for walking the downs of South Wiltshire; with excellent walks from the doorstep and dozens more a short drive from our base. The staff were particularly friendly; the cooked breakfast, using local produce, a well prepared treat. Although very much a “pub with rooms” rather than a hotel, this was little hardship as the dining/bar area was a charming place to relax (serving Butcombe’s great range of ales) and was by no means noisy when it came to bed.

Room was clean. Green Kings first purpose built built hotel type accommodation has a similar feel to a Premier Inn. Lovely location with beautiful views over the Wiltshire fields. The hotel was quiet and relaxing with pretty gardens that you could walk around. The bedroom was large, comfortable double bed and the ensuite bathroom was nice and the shower was hot. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good although not much of a selection of fruit. The lounge area was comfortable and relaxing.

Lovely little studio apartment in a rural setting. Lots of thought had gone into the modern decor and the small kitchen was really helpful. Hosts was very friendly and accommodating. Great communication. Quiet and peaceful, nice local walks on the door step and easy drive into Bristol/Bath and Wiltshire. Enjoyed the TV, good shower, fold down table was a clever addition.

Location excellent both in town and for our purpose which was to tour and visit in Wiltshire. Thanks for the parking - we appreciated the convenience of an hotel car park in the middle of town.
