Emily and Adam were amazing hosts! Loved staying here so much. The room was nice and clean, with a great individual bathroom. Was lovely to be able to relax in the communal living room as well, with a cozy fire and some card games. Also a great view from the living room, right off the water. Very good location, outside the busy area, but close enough to just nip into town for food. Would definitely recommend and return for another stay. Also would recommend getting the breakfast, was very fresh and good!

You can really tell that lots of love has flown into every nook and cranny of this little cottage. It is welcoming and homely right from the start, and you can find everything you need: The kitchen has clearly been equiped by someone who is actually using it as well. First of all, even though the kitchen is very small, it is furnished incredibly efficient. This also means that there is room for a surprising amount of things: There is basically *every* kitchen utensil you might need. This starts with some basics that everyone has in their kitchen, but are so often forgotten in rental apartment kitchens (like e.g. a pair of scissors). Apart from that, there are also more specialized items available, like e.g. a masher, a potato peeler, a garlic press, a measuring jug, and even some kitchen scales. As if that was not enough, there is even a washing machine in the kitchen - excellent for longer trips. In the garden, you can find a clothes dryer for hanging up your wet clothes afterwards. The living room and the bedroom are also quite small. Still, the available space has been used very efficiently again. Thanks to that, you can even find quite a few books, games, and puzzles in the living room. I did not use those, as I was lucky enough to have lots of sunny days, but it is nice to have them available for rainy days. Finally, the bed is really comfortable, and I always had a good night's sleep. As it is a rather narrow double bed (probably Queen size) with one shared duvet, though, it is probably better suited to couples than friends travelling together, I guess.

The lodging was even closer to our planned activities than we expected, and our host was absolutely charming. Fiona's hospitality was amazing and she was very accommodating to all our needs as a family with a small infant. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was well tended, and the bathrooms were immaculate. Parking was right in front of the building in a private space, and the views were phenomenal. We wish we could have stayed longer.

The landlord family (especially Donna) is very nice, the rooms were excellent (and seemed quite new), the bathroom was very clean, the nights were very calm (good sleep) and you have parking lots directly in front of the house. You are allowed to accompany the farmer family to the sheeps, what can be a great experience (feeding lambs with a baby bottle) - Thank you very much for this.
