We enjoyed some snooker games in a early 20th century fitted snooker room and Talisker whiskey in front of the open fire place. Also there was a very broad choice of breakfast options and an opulent dinner choice in the on site restaurant. Especially fascinating were the free roaming golden pheasants on site.

Every room has fresh fruit, mineral water, tea/coffee facilities and smart TV's with BT sport, satellite TV and Chromecast. Everything was great. The staff was very helpful. The kipper for breakfast was delicious. The room itself overlooking the sea was spacious and light.

We stayed in the two-bed room bed and breakfast, and it was superb. Sara is a fantastic cook, the home is beautifully decorated, and the location is really great. We were able to see so much and still be 'home' to relax before bed. Achalochan House has been the best stay on our 21 day journey.
