The pillows were horrible, too narrow and lumpy. The air conditioning didn't work very well. It was difficult to cool the room. Prices have increased. I found it a little expensive this time.

I was in Montreal for the Longueuil Marathon. Service, staff, courtesy, availability, cleanliness ... all excellent Everything was very good except what is mentioned below (next question)

The location was excellent. The family suite is perfect if traveling with kids. The breakfast was sufficient and clean. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We had a great stay. We would recommend this hotel when in Montreal.

Very well located for main shops, cafes, central railway. The rooms are large with high ceilings, good lighting and every amenity. The swimming pool, gym and rooftop outside deck are all fabulous. The staff could not have been more helpful.

Children are jumping in the pool despite the clear rules, unmannered parents did not say anything. Accidentals are 50cad for the stay and a print out of the total ( stay + accidentals) is taken on arrival on the card. Do not use a debit card like me as the full amount is actually debited on the card a first time and when they authorise for the release, the full amount is debited again minus the accidentals. I got refunded of the double charge 30 days later once home, which a nightmare if you are on a budget. Not the hotel fault though but the American continent system. Banks take ages to refund.

The location is brilliant and to have a kitchenette is so handy. Shops are just around the corner. Staff are very nice. Had a meal at the restaurant it was gorgeous. Breakfast is basic but good as it is included in the rate.

Canadian breakfast in general seems to be far behind US or EU demands.

Great spacy apartments - fully equipped, silent in the night, good sleeping also due to convenient mattresses. Very helpful & kind hotel staff.

Have to wait for lift for quite long during peak hours. The coffee maker machine in my room was dirty.

Hotel was both close to old Montreal and close to the subway. So easy to get around.

The bathroom light was a bit bright. The pool was small and many people were using it. The breakfast room was busy on the weekday (Friday) and less so on the weekend (Saturday).

The room was large, spacious and clean AND it had an entire kitchenette. The location was excellent, easy access from A10, convenient valet parking, and within walking distance of main downtown attractions, old Montreal, Chinatown, the port and Mont Royal. The breakfast that was included had lots of varieties of food and options of tea or coffee.

The cost of valet parking is a bit prohibitive. I understand the need to charge for parking, and if it was just one in and out I cd grin & bear it, but w the ins and outs and the tips to valets, it sure adds up. I don’t see a solution but wanted to make a comment. This wd apply to all hotels w valet parking not just to Le Square P. PS no option re car in my case as spouse has mobility issues, so car necessary.

Location. Excellent both for downtown and old Mtl. Room. Large, clean. Kitchen. Great to have (ps needed a frying pan) Exercise room. Clean Pool.
