The owner was extremely helpful and passed on a lot of very useful local knowledge about places to see and the directions etc. His information gave us the most outstanding road trip up to Ullapool to get the ferry to the Isle of Lewis and Harris. Turns out he grew up there and knew where on the Island our family history began. Priceless info. It’s a small world.
This is a great place to stay with above and beyond service. It’s about an hour north of Edinburgh not too far from the M90 highway and a good stop for a night in a traditional pub in a peaceful tree filled valley.”
