Unfortunately we could hardly sleep due to the heat of the room. We had the air con on all night and a window open and the room was still uncomfortably hot considering it wasn’t even a hot day outside. Some parts of the hotel look quite tired.

The hotel was in a great location, really close to shops and the utilita arena. The room was clean and we had breakfast in the connected restaurant which was really convenient. The hotel also has a secure car park which was really useful.

The website / booking info needs to include information on how to access the hotel's car park and the hotel needs to update it's Google Maps location. We followed Google Maps which took us to the car park exit (not the entrance) on Custom House Street which leads onto a bus lane with nowhere to turn around, so we're now waiting to receive a fine. Furthermore, to access the entrance to the car park you have to follow very confusing signage that takes you onto another bus/taxi lane but that does allow access to the car park.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and the bedroom was a good size. The location is excellent for an evening out at the Utilita Arena and to visit bars and restaurants.

Restaurant was overpriced and the food was mediocre at best. The pillows are poor, and there was a gap between the headboard and mattress so naturally the pillows would fall between that gap.

Great location. Room was clean and nice. Staff helped us hook a HDMI to the tv so that we could watch Netflix etc using a laptop.

Hotel restaurant Browns is overpriced and food isn't that good, would recommend other options in the city centre.

Room was clean and spacious, location is perfect very close the train station and restaurants. The hotel has a proper secure car park which is £18 a day. Would recommend to check with the hotel staff for car park entrance directions if going by car as there is only way to get on the hotel street, otherwise might end up in a bus lane or taking a banned turn.

Took too long for water to drain from sink, when on tv guide it would only state what channel it was no programs shown so no idea what was on or what was on next on any channel I had to google a tv guide on my phone to check what was on and also being short didn’t help when getting in and out of bath

The rooms all need to have walk in showers we found it difficult trying to climb into the bath for a shower and a little unsafe . For me the mattress topper was far to soft as I need a firm mattress

Plug didn’t pop up easy after use. No bin liners or sanitary bags. Wasn’t a city centre facing room that was requested, although this wasn’t guaranteed. Had to request beans at breakfast as none out (all gone from pot) didn’t have them in the end as there was a wait. Would have preferred walk in shower separate to bath.

Right in the heart of the city centre but not noisy at all. Very quiet hotel, hardly saw anyone over the two days there. Staff made every aspect of the stay very easy. The room was lovely.

Blood spot on the sheet when I checked in - quickly resolved once I raised it with the reception staff.

Great location, nice sized and comfortable room, good shower and staff were excellent. The bar area was also open at the front and was very lively which was very good given the hot weather.
