The location is very central to Keswick town centre and walkable to many spectacular walks. We parked up the car by the property for the duration of our stay no need to drive. Our room was large spotless and had everything we needed. Breakfasts are amazing. Steve, Lesley, Richard and Rachel are great hosts.

There was nothing not to like.

Steve and his family are the kindest hosts you can imagine. They go out of their way to make sure your stay is a welcoming stress-free experience and their breakfasts are amazing. Steve's wife says I can come back and stay as long as I don't lose my phone again. Haha. I left it on a bus and Steve and his wife drove to Workington and retrieved it for me. These are truly gracious people. Every morning I had a window seat view of a few of the nearby fells. I highly recommend the Dalkeith Guesthouse.

Very clean , Breakfast 10/10 The family were lovely we even had homemade flapjacks when we got back in our bedroom which was a lovely touch we will be back. Would recommend this B&B

No dedicated car park, but I always found a space in nearby street which was free and had no restrictions on hours etc.

Excellent accommodation within easy walking distance of town centre. Very friendly welcome from very attentive staff. Excellent breakfast. Would definitely return if in the area.

Convenient for the town. Clean, comfortable and hosts were their usual welcoming and accommodating selves. Room looked out on snow topped mountains. Great fresh food breakfasts, cooked perfectly. Made me feel part of the “family”

Really friendly, welcoming hosts. Clean and homely facilities with everything that you need. Different breakfast options daily, avocado and poached egg, with a chilli topping was delicious...as well as homemade yoghurt, fruit compote! Great location with everything you need for a Lakes break, all accessible by foot. Thank you!

Amazing little guest house, room was fantastic, hot shower, quality bed linen and towels, bedside lamp with dimmer, tea, coffee replenished, attention to detail - beautiful tea cup, complimentary homemade cake , modern decor, super clean, top quality breakfast produce topped off with friendly hosts, nothing was to much trouble, thank you for a great stay

Parking was limited, but managed to find a space on neighbouring street.

Just returned from a wonderful 2 days in Keswick. The property was very clean, warm and welcoming and only a 5min walk to the town centre. The room was a good size with a very comfy bed and excellent large walk in shower. The breakfast was outstanding and probably one of the best I’ve had! The hosts were very friendly. Would definitely recommend. The homemade flapjack was a lovely touch! 😊

The only criticism I have was the shower which had wasn’t the best having said that the rooms on on the 2nd floor so probably a pressure issue, it wouldn’t stop us staying here again though.

Everything is so perfect! I really really enjoyed my day there. It actually made me feel at home! And breakfast is soooooo good!!!! Promised, I will come there again next time!!
