“Everything about it :) The location is great, the people were lovely. Food was cooked well and the hosts kept our preferences in mind with everything. Extremely accommodating!”

  • Cross Keys Inn Review score: 10

“Spacious, clean, great food and really nice staff. A new guy who had just started that day helped us at breakfast time this morning and was amazing. He chatted with our wee boys and even put breakfasts back under hot lamp when we had to take my son to the toilet AND reunited me with my phone and my other son’s socks (we were having one of “those” mornings). Total Legend! Anyway, a great stay in this family friendly inn. I’m sure we’ll be back soon.”

  • Cumberland Inn Review score: 10

“Private carpark off the road for motorbikes and the fact that the windows were new and opened beautifully wide so we got loads of fresh Alston air into the room. The breakfast was cooked fresh and served with big smiles. The beers are too notch too. I like this place!!!”

  • The Derby Arms Witherslack Review score: 7

“Breakfast was good with local produce. Live music was a bonus.”

  • The Bridge Inn Review score: 6

    “The location was central.”

  • West View Review score: 9

“Heather and Craig were fantastic hosts, very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were really clean, spacious and had everything you would expect for an enjoyable break away. The Guest house is perfectly situated for a short walk to Derwent Water or into town. We really enjoyed our time at West View and look forwards to visiting again.”

  • The Bungalows Guesthouse Review score: 10

“Great facilities, comfortable room, didn't want for anything. Being able to sit out in the garden in the sunshine after a long day walk was nice. Walks right on the doorstep, easy to get to Keswick either by walking or the regular bus service, so didn't need to use my car once parked up outside the bungalow. Pub and coffee shop close by too, both good.”
