Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomMy mattress and divan was in a collapsed state. My feet were higher than my body and it was leaning towards the middle. The maid must have been aware of this when the bed was made before my arrival. Will not stay here again.

United KingdomThe room was on the railway side of the hotel and the windows weren't good at keeping the noise out - trains stopped running at about 11.30 and started again at about 5am - not a great night's sleep. I also received many emails prior to the booking about 'pre check-in'. They serve no purpose whatsoever as was told the answers given in these pre-check in questionnaires don't link to the hotel's system - it's therefore pointless sending them out before arrival!! I also send in lots of feedback but receive no response as to whether anything is done about the questions I raise - is it therefore pointless completing these as well??

United KingdomThe room was tacky, needing refurbishment. The third bed was uncomfortable, with a loose spring. Three of us stayed, but only two sets of towels were provided. There was only one pillow provided for each bed. The curtains weren’t clean and were stained at the back. Floors were grubby in room and corridors.
Found the hotel easily. Check in was quick and staff were ok. Parking was easy. Reception area was clean. Free Wi-Fi. Clean linen.
