There was nothing to not like.

Everything we could not fault anything. We had a lovley stay, and it was for our silver wedding anniversary and the staff went above and beyond.

On checking in we were told the hot tub chalet that we had booked over the telephone was fully booked !

Breakfast buffet was very good although I did regret the absence of baked beans. Bedroom was small with not much space to hang up clothes although very well appointed and comfortable and with a lovely view. Dinner was great although the restaurant being very busy could not help being noisy and so conversation could become a little difficult.

There was absolutely nothing that we didn't like.

We were there to see our friend Denise perform at Discolicious and could not have had a better time. Hotel is in a fabulous location set in it's own estate with great views. The hotel was immaculate and had everything we needed. All the staff were amazing in looking after us, but one member of staff stood out from the others...FIONA, who went above and beyond when helping us check in and parking the car. Had the best bank holiday weekend and we will definitely be back!

The rooms were clean but a little in the small side Shower room small.

The breakfast was very disappointing. Everything in ban Marie’s. Expected it would be cooked to order. It was cold, dry and uninviting

Not that it was a dislike more of a suggestion - the breakfasts could be tweaked slightly. No teapot and I had to fiddle about with dunking teabags at table and stained my t shirt - my own fault I suppose - also the sausages and bacon weren’t the best …but the staff were excellent again .

Amazing location and amazing staff they are above and beyond every other hotel I’ve stayed at. Dined in the restaurant at night , again food was excellent and unique setting with the horse arena . Special Mention to Callum, Chloe, Summer and I think it was Louisa on reception. They all deserve to be paid top dollar and I hope they are - they are a credit to the establishment.

The breakfast wasn't great. It was a buffet breakfast which I usually really enjoy, but it appeared that everything was cooked first thing (like 7am ish) and then kept warm and reheated before it was brought out to replenish items. The bacon was like leather, the potato scones were a nightmare to cut as they were so hard, the mushrooms were all shrivelled up and didn't look very pleasant.. If my elderly parents had been with us, they wouldn't have been able to enjoy very much of the breakfast as most items would have been too tough. Very

Staff!!!! The staff are the jewel in the crown of this modern well appointed hotel and country club complex. Mostly young but fully invested in the task of real hospitality where you feel the center of all that is going on. I didn't make eye contact once where it wasn't reciprocated by big proper happy smiles. Uplifting, enhancing every moment of the stay.. Bonus was opening curtains on to a perfectly kept practice out door arena.

I ordered room service while I was getting ready to attend a wedding reception held locally. I was told it would be half an hour wait but it took over an hour. I had to leave before the food arrived. The reception staff left the food in my room as requested for when I returned. The advertised room said lake view but this was not the case. I was in a room overlooking a gravel enclosure, presumably for horse riding.

Very comfortable and clean room. Room and hotel high standard. Friendly and helpful staff.

Liked everything, we arrived at 11:20pm so too late to use hot tub and stayed overnight- the was the only disappointment was our stay was too short.

The lodge was great and the place felt like staying on a country estate, stables, horses and all. The lodge had both a sauna and hot tub.
