Well being an old building it has its drawbacks. There are stairs to the lift, which is very small.

Coming in from the garage was a bit of a worry... You go through areas that aren't looking great and I was a little worried the room might be old and tired but happy to report it wasn't!

Location, excellent staff, fabulous food, interesting building with interesting history, good standard of decor in the rooms, lovely bath and powerful shower, overall a really excellent stay.

Location was perfect with view of the harbour,so relaxing just to sit and watch the world go by on the water.!! Quaint hotel.

Fabulous location with lovely sea views. Room was perfect and all in all it’s a traditional charming hotel full of character. Restaurant food was very good and staff friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

Parking was very difficult which isn’t good after a very long journey.

Comfortable rooms, fluffy towels, wide range of tea/coffee supplied in the room. Friendly and helpful staff. The food in the restaurant was excellent - particularly the evening meal.

What an amazing hotel. This is exactly what I would call home away from home. The design of the hotel (like a maze) was so cosy, the restaurant was brilliant, the food was delicious , breakfast as well as dinner. Breakfast was plenty and a lot to choose from. It's very convenient, not a buffet. You could just sit and relax , the stuff will serve you everything. The view from the hotel restaurant is stunning. The pub downstairs is a real deal. Everything is in one place, even if you don't want to get out anywhere. I honeslty say this was one of the best Hotel we stayed in Europe. The stuff is so attentive and kind, extremely friendly. There is plenty of parking all around the hotel as well as a garage. The town is walking distance and very romantic. There is a lot to see around. Lots of cafes , restaurants, and outdoor programs. Do not hesitate to book this hotel if you want a nice relaxing stay. Oh, the bed is amazing and the cleaning service is excellent as well. Coffee , tea , and even little biscuits are included. Thank you for all this. We will definitely be back.
