We stayed in the Hafod room which is located right next to reception, unfortunately this meant that we could hear staff conversing and working late into the night. I will say however this did seem to stop at around half 11

Breakfast was very slow to arrive. Buffet style cold section was help yourself, absolutely fine. Unfortunately the hot breakfast was painfully slow to arrive,approximately 40 minutes from ordering, thankfully we were not in any rush. When it did arrive it was very good. Front of house very pleasant, struggled in Kitchen.

Lovely hotel, rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. Friendly check in staff, had a very nice 1 night stay, Nice bar area very relaxing stay.

The hotel is lovely and has some lovely characteristics but it does need updating in areas, the communal areas in the town house are dated, the doors are dated, the champagne bar, whilst lovely, is very 1980's. It just needs a revamp. The banquet hall was very busy at breakfast so had to wait quite a while.

The location of the hotel was perfect, free on site parking was great. The room (in the townhouse) was immaculate, spacious, warm and loved the Molton Brown shower gels. So nice to have robes too. Staff were lovely. Check in was easy. Bed (4 poster) was very comfortable, crisp white bedding and lovely pillows.

The bed was a bit soft

Fabulous room, spacious and clean. Fabulous coffee machine in the room. Everything was luxurious and loved the hotel bar, fabulous decor. A wonderful stay, we will be back.

The only downside was that I kept being woken up either by somebody moving around next door then, by what sounded like keys being rattled around in a bowl. This happened a few times and I’m not sure what it was.

Loved the breakfast and staff. All very helpful. Was a great location for going into town. A nice room which was comfy and the bathroom was really nice. The main building is really impressive. Having parking right outside (free) is a bonus.

Access from the hotel to the town house was a little difficult for disabled people. Car parking was limited.

Unfortunately our bathroom sink was partially blocked which made washing hands/ face / teeth a little tricky as it would take ages for the water to go down. However they let us use the facilities in another room so can't really fault.

We were not allowed to park in the hotel car park so had to pay for parking. Y these seems strange when you pay over £150 for a room.

Good quality hotel, right next to the city centre and near the sea / marina. Nice little restaurant too which serves tasty food and catered for all of our dietary requirements within the party.

Sadly there was no cooked breakfast as the kitchen was out of order after the fire. They tried hard but there really wasn't much choice .

Lovely hotel, friendly staff who were all very efficient when the fire alarm went off early in the morning and we had to evacuate . Our room was so lovely, couldn't have asked for more really.

Breakfast necessitated making own toast tea etc and having to get and lay out cups saucers and side plates. At those prices and with so many staff I did not expect so much to be required of me.

Room was too dark due to plug on lighting having not been installed. Evening meal was not good, we got a refund. Breakfast could have been better. Orange juice should be freshly squeezed.
