Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaAbsolutely nothing - it was perfect for us
From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome. The accommodation was spacious, well appointed and comfortable. Even though we didn't expect it, there were breakfast supplies of bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, bread, milk and condiments. Thank you very much Nikki.

United KingdomI really can't think of any negatives, we had a lovely couple of nights stay.
Lovely and quiet with great scenery. Gill couldn't be more helpful , nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was great with the sausages and bacon locately sourced. Great location for Bath and Bradford on Avon and many more beautiful Wiltshire towns. Kittens were adorable too!

United KingdomNothing to mention, exceeded expectations.
The welcome when we arrived. The qyality of products left for the continental breakfast. The cleanliness and quiet location. Clean, comfortable room, perfect for our stay. What a treat to be surrounded by nature, yet a bus trip away from Bath. We found some walking routes (public footpaths and bridleways) which took us towards Box and Corsham, with a great pub called the Quarrymans Arms. We visited Bradford on Avon and hired a canoe from the Lock Inn Cafe, what fun. Highly recommend and will return.

United KingdomI can really complain about anything, If I had to come up with a suggestion to improve Norbin Farm, the rooms could do with black out curtains. with our stay in early June it was light before 5.00pm. BUT that is nitpicking!!! In general this place is fantastic
all in all great value for money, I would stay there again.

United KingdomHad to drive to be able to get anywhere (safely). We attempted to use local footpaths but very overgrown. Only gripe about the property was the shower, small glass screen and water temperature was low.
Property was well managed, clean and good value for money. 15-20 minutes from most places including Bath itself.

We Stayed in holiday let number 3 and absolutely loved it. The beds are super comfy and it had everything we needed to cook when we needed too. The place was spotless and sitting in the front garden with a glass of wine after a day of sightseeing in the area was amazing. Gill the host was great and we felt really at home here, wish we could have stayed longer. The accommodation is only 20 minutes drive from Bath and there are so many beautiful places to visit around the area. Would highly recommend this accommodation.

United KingdomI loved the accommodation but there were a couple of issues. Hot water can take 10 minutes to get from cold to hot. No markings on taps, or shower as to hot/cold so by the time you've worked that out it can be longer than 10 minutes. Because of Covid, (even though there are no legal restrictions) the rooms aren't serviced during the stay, so, no clean towels. Just the ones supplied on arrival. No extra milk etc is brought in daily, bedding isn't changed, bins not emptied during stay. I guess if you asked, fresh towels or milk etc would be forthcoming, but chose to just buy our own milk and re-use towels. There was 3 light bulbs not working in the ensuite and the lighting in the room... Wish the kitchen area lights could be used independantly of main lights, as kitchen area is quite dim but don't need main lights on as too bright. These are very small things I'd like to hope were just circumstances of current climate. It would not put me off returning. And I'm sure had I asked, they would of been dealt with. But ya know what, I really didn't want to disturb the hard working owner, she was such a nice lady. So I would still highly recommend a stay here.
Beautiful location, lovely room and the owner was a fantastic, friendly lady. Very helpful and informative. Facilities were excellent, big comfy queen size bed, 32" Freeview TV, Kettle, toaster and microwave, fridge with a little freezer compartment in. Proper Tea bags, sugar and coffee granules, (not stupid single use sachets) Bottled fresh milk, orange juice a variety of nice bottled preserves (Jam, marmalade) Fresh Cheese and Ham and a few slices of fresh seeded bread. Yoghurts and fresh fruit and some glass bottles of still spring water. Several packs of those little individual butters. Our room was a standard double so no hob. Plenty of cutlery, various sized plates and bowls. A hair dryer, sharp cutting knife and scissors. Several plug sockets for charging phones etc. En suite bathroom with sink, toilet and glass enclosed shower (no bath) toiletries, towels, toilet rolls, kitchen roll, tea towel, and dishcloths all supplied. There is a kitchen sink combined in the kitchen area. Everything you would need for a couple of days basic self catering. Obviously continental breakfast style, but did make use of microwave in the evening for a couple of ready meals. Lovely views and quiet and secluded. Did have a visitor whilst there, farm cat, although a wild cat with her little kitten in tow, she was friendly, very clean and well looked after and will happily let you fuss her, but will also happily invite herself in, given the opportunity. We love cats, so she was a welcome visitor. We had a lovely stay, my partner fell in love with the place and wants to return. Highly recommended as an alternative to the usual B&B style accommodation. Own entrance, so no worries about disturbing anyone.

United Kingdomwe are used to having a lot of counter space at home, so for us it was little bit difficult. Having said that it did give us a lot banter and laughs of us trying to work together.
its a good location for traveling to bath, only about 15mins drive away and there also parking . It is also a working farm so you got to meet few furry friends, which made our stay even more pleasant and welcoming. A lot of care and thought went into the breakfast, giving you variety of choices.
