Asked for extra toilet roll twice , surprised no spares in the room also only 2 coffee capsules then had to pay for them ? Breakfast was a bit of a let down overall , stewed coffee in old communal machine , dried up food in the servers dont really like buffet breakfast as it usually ends up this way , felt it wasn't good value for £12

Lovely bright clean room , king size bed , good shower , quiet room at the back as requested. Great location bus stop outside the door , nice walk along the river , great to be able to leave the car safely and for free. Enjoyed the small pool as well also a nice bar for nightcap

The room was small with the bathroom too close. The breakfast was ok, didn't realise you had to request vegan sausages. Should be available with the other breakfast items as the norm. Couldn't see any soya milk/yoghurts. I expect you had to request that too. As a hotel with a spa and gym, I would have expected more variety of vegetarian/vegan options as they are more healthy.

The bed was lovely and comfortable. The room was clean.

Room was difficult to get to - long walk and up many stairs. Got lost a few times!

We loved the pool, visited quite late both nights we stayed (around 8pm) and had entire place to ourselves!

Very clean hotel and the room was a good size for one person. Staff were very kind and accommodating. Breakfast was held in the restaurant and was very comfortable.

My single room had no window (apart from in the bathroom) which made it feel claustrophobic and dark.

The room was comfortable and clean. The leisure facilities were fantastic and included a pool, jacuzzi and sauna (at no extra charge). The food available in the restaurant was delicious and the full English buffet breakfast was great. Free onsite parking was convenient.

Check in completed on line so arrival was fuss free. Rooms were nice and clean and furnished to a good standard. Breakfast was included and there was a wide choice available. The Hotel restaurant/bar facilities were very good and the quality of the food was well above average. A big plus was the use of a well equipped gym and small but adequate swimming pool and sauna. The staff and service provided was exemplary.

Old fashioned shower with no hand held fitment. No hook on the back of the bathroom door. Meals finish very early on Sundays and you can’t sit in the main restaurant to eat in the very early evening (closed off). No fresh fruit salad with our breakfast because they’d run out. This was quite important for me because I have stomach issues.

It was advertised as a hotel with a spa but it is really only a pool, sauna and jacuzzi with nowhere to sit, relax and unwind. In our experience, in a spa, you'd be given a bathrobe and shower gel/shampoo in the changing rooms but neither of these were the case here.The changing rooms were cold and the pool wasn't very warm either. Our bedroom was very small and it got quite stuffy. It was more suited to single occupancy.

Very clean. Good, easy bus connection into town. Plenty of free parking. Good hotel for anyone on a business trip. Nice breakfast.

The food was not very good. The chips were too large to be called chips and they hadn't been cooked in hot enough oil so had absorbed the fat. The fish was the same. At breakfast you asked for eggs that aren't scrambled and they get brought to you which is fine apart from they bring it to you when you they are ready but they haven't wiped any of the fat off of the plate so I had to do it as the plate was swimming. The sausages were also abit over cooked and they need a sign by the hot food to say the ketchup is in little jars with the jams.

Receptionist couldn’t say if breakfast would include any Gluten free items and didn’t attempt to find out for us. The rooms had no information on facilities including how to turn down heating.
