Quirky and very cosy and comfortable B&B/pub-fantastic location and great service!

Although the service at breakfast was excellent and the breakfast pretty good-the orange juice wasn't the best and the toast was a bit cold and rubbery-would have been nice to have warmer/hotte/thicker toast and the option of nice granola/fruits/honey and yoghurt combo-very picky but just being honest!

Great nd very efficient service and fabulous location-gorgeous room and great bathroom/shower-tasteful decor and nice tea/coffee/biscuits in room-tv didn't work at first so manager came up immediately and sorted it for me. Bed very comfortable and very cosy and quirky pub/place-would go back.

Amazing location in the heart of Falmouth, beautiful views. It was extremely cosy, comfortable and relaxing with wonderful decor and ambience. Breakfast was a peaceful experience served by lovely staff, and cooked excellently.

A really friendly and welcoming place to stay close to the hear of Falmouth

We stayed 2 nights but couldn't park close to the hotel during that time. We're fit so parking a few streets away wasn't a problem for us. Trip advisor reviews frequently mention the great breakfast and if you prefer a traditional cooked breakfast then you won't be disappointed, but the continental breakfast wasn't very inspiring. For the price of the room we would usually expect to have a choice of bread, yoghurt, muesli/granola and fruit in addition to the more traditional choices on offer.

The big bonus with this accommodation is the pub - it's a little way from the town centre and popular with locals as well as visitors. It has a really good bar area with a log fire, sofas, a darts area as well as tables for those wishing to eat. Do not miss the Sunday roast, one of the best we've ever had. The staff are so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Our room was nicely furnished, very clean and comfortable. The hotel location is at the top of Jacobs ladder which is a steep climb from the town but a short trip by taxi.

There was a loud hum coming from the room next to ours which kept me awake for most of the night.

it’s an old pub and really quirky. Rooms are nice and clean, and staff are great

Fabulous rooms, refurbished from our stay last year which was an added bonus. Quality fixtures, fittings and decor. The coffee machine was so good I bought one which was waiting at home for me on my return! Everything was perfect and a lot of work has been undertaken to get it to the high standard it's now presenting. Everything about this place is homely, welcoming and friendly. All the staff we encountered went above and beyond, a fantastic team. The bathroom was gorgeous, unfortunately there was no bath wash or shampoo just a handwash on the sink. We'll definitely be back next year if we can get a booking! I have a feeling this will always be fully booked. The nicest place we've stayed in Falmouth and we've been going there for 20+ years. Well done Spencer and team.

Nothing could have been better. A fantastic stay.

On arrival we were greeted by the hosts who were really accommodating and happy to see us. Nothing too much trouble. Room was beautiful newly decorated and warm, spacious and spotless. Despite a party in the evening you could not hear it in the room. The bed was extremely comfortable and as it was a king, lots of room! Breakfast was bespoke ordered the day before on arrival. Full English and scrambled egg on toast were both of a good size and very yummy. Nothing at fault and would highly recommend as it is central to the shops and front. However if you cannot manage steps you will need to use your car to access the shops and harbour. As they say it’s all in the name!

Street noise during the early hours caused by young guys on skate boards, probably after a night on the town. Had a park a few streets away as no available parking by the pub. The following day I was able to park closer.

Friendly staff, location, dog friendly too.

There was nothing we didn’t like, however we have just looked to go back with family for the weekend and it is very expensive if the price were slightly lower it would be perfect.

This hotel far exceeded our expectations. Staff were so helpful and friendly. The rooms were immaculate, so clean and comfy. The added touches of a nespresso machine with pods and bottled water in the room were such a lovely touch. I will definitely be back.

Due to the room being above a pub the noise travelled easily but didn’t effect our stay.

Location was brilliant- just a 5 min walk into the centre of Falmouth and all the amenities. We stayed in room 4 which was lovely- recently refurbished. I had the continental breakfast most days which was very generous.

Rooms are on the small side but understandable as they are above the pub. This however didn’t bother us at all.

We were happy with supporting a small business. The pub hotel is small and quirky but very comfortable. Food was very good and service was excellent. Absolutely amazing staff!

Hard to find anything for this.. Maybe a long mirror, but thats a really minor issue!

Great rooms, recently refurbished, good tea and coffee making facilities, excellant breakfast and evening meal with a chef who really cares about his food. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere in the pub. We will be back!

The inn is located on quite a hill. As we were not driving, we had to reach it up a flight of 110 steps (Jacobs ladder) or else walk around a steep road around the steps,. You'll be fine if you have your own car though.

The room and attached toilet were very spacious, clean and neat. The inn is quite rustic but tastefully done up. Toiletries provided were basic. We liked that the room had complimentary coffee and water. The rooms are on the first floor up a short flight of stairs, and the inn has a full fledged pub on the ground floor. The pub serves some tasteful home cooked meals. The included breakfast was lavish and made to your order. Staff are excellent, helpful, courteous and friendly. They willingly allowed for an early check in and a late check out. Although the pub is on ground floor, the room was quite and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay at Jacobs Ladder inn and would stay there again.
