Limited parking. Got the last parking spot one night and avoided hunting another place near dark.

Comfortable big room, quiet to sleep. Bed was good and sofa was nice to relax on. Great breakfast which was included.

The younger staff in the restaurant were a little lacking in service skills and speed and slightly rude.

Everything was lovely and clean and well presented. Food was good and reasonably priced. House keeping staff were very helpful.

Bar below open until 1am on the night we stayed so music and also loud shouting and bad behaviour outside the window in the street below including police called to a brawl

No lift to upper floor, however staff offered to assist with my luggage. Parking was a bit tight, but ok.

Large room (actually 2 bedrooms, with bathroom between) plenty of plug sockets, spotlessly clean, food good honest pub style. Would definitely stay agin if I was in the area

The bed was uncomfortable - a new mattress needed. Was unbearably warm no fan and couldn't get the window open. Staff where friendly and the food was nice. Would stay again

Hotel very convenient for our visit to Dumfries House. Room a little dark, but bed comfortable. Plenty of hot water, with bath and shower available. Staff friendly.

Bathroom was mouldy around the bath, the vinyl laminate was hanging off the sink base door. We had no hot water in the morning to have a shower or wash. When going for breakfast we were attended too as great as the night before.

Hotel was pretty modern looking in the restaurant/reception. Dinner was very nice and drinks reasonably priced. The bed was comfy and we had a decent sleep probably better if it wasn't such a hot room. But the weather had been amazing all day.

The whole premises looked tired and a bit dark. Much in need of modernisation. blinds in room were damaged.

Location was excellent for Dumfries house our destination. The restaurant and food was excellent. The beds were very comfortable. Good size bathroom.

Nothing really! Perhaps a little bit more options for continental breakfast, but for the price I paid I cannot complain at all. My eggs royale was lovely.

Great value for money, my hotel room was enormous with a hallway dressing room, bath tub and sofa. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming too. Would absolutely recommend and would stay again.

The rooms were a bit dated and dark. I didn't like the privacy from the room and being able to see through to another window when in the bedroom or bathroom so felt we had to keep the blinds down. I had a really good nights sleep though and the bed was really comfortable for me. We had 3 rooms booked and the others found the noise from the pub annoying

The restaurant was really nice and cozy and all food was really tasty, Breakfast offered a great choice. The staff were all really helpful.

Heaters in our room did not work. Ask them to look at it, they never did. Carpet leading up to the rooms are very dirty and smell especially the area near the kitchen.

Was a bit noisy from people out side .However it was a Saturday night and my room was at the front so wouldn't say this was a big issue and it didn't stop me from sleeping...
