Breakfast had no sliced bread both days, only buns and croissants. Only a small thing but would have been nice to put the provided scrambled eggs onto regular toast.

Perfect location near train station, walking distance to cool restaurants and shopping area in Sakae, Starbucks a couple of minutes away. 4 convenience stores within a minute of the hotel. Great!

Area is slightly noisy at night - I usually had to keep the window closed.

The room was sufficient for a one-person stay, with all the facilities I needed. Housekeeping and additional amenities are available upon request (even though I didn't need them). Good location as well, near to touristy locations like the Nagoya Tower.

The TV is in Japanese when you arrive and it's a bit unintuitive to put it in English. The room has a "power switch" requiring to put the key in it in order to get electricity at all, which is good for the environment but means you cannot leave something charging while you leave the room. There are 3 elevators in the building but when the check-out time approaches they are very demanded which can lead to difficulties going down, expetially if you're in a floor located in the middle of the hotel. There are some distributors in the hotel, which is good, but they are located only on certain floors (2, 7 and 12).

The room is small but very cozy and well equipped. You can feel the APA formula is something very mastered by them as everything is very automated in every direction (each room has its own SSID for the wifi, that is dynamically displayed on the TV etc). There is an onsen that is very soothing. If you're in research of an occidental-like hotel then APA will definitely provide it, with a constancy of service usually very good from one hotel to the next one (it's the "zero surprise" option, neither good nor bad). There is a free (for customers of the hotel) service to hold your luggage during the day if you arrive before check-in time or if you plan to leave the city after check-out but don't want to keep your luggage with you during the day.

The room was incredibly small. The cleaning staff give you bags of supplies including towels, robes and new toiletries every day. We actually had no space to put them in the room (and we are travelling incredibly lightly) we ended up having to pile them up in the bathtub or leave them in the hallway outside.

The hotel was nice and the Onsen facilities were clean and relaxing.

Air conditioner broke down i believe, room became around 30C. Had to open the window and request a fan from the staff in order to stay cool (staff were extremely helpful when it came to this, thank you very much!)

Staff were extremely helpful, helped me order from Dominos as i wasnt able to speak Japanese well. Bed was quite big and comfortable for one person. Breakfast was quite good. Came with scrambled eggs, sausages, udon rice etc.

I think from the time that we checked in and out, the only things that troubled me was that the check in process was a bit more complicated than I had hoped. I did try to be as understanding when it came to language barrier and that the one helping us was new, but the attitude didn't seem all that good towards us. We were equally tired from all the traveling so I will admit I'm more sensitive to how reception acted towards us. But overall, the following days were okay. I did like the room even though it was a bit cramped, it was still nice and it was cleaned as scheduled. So we thank you.

Location and room was really nice. Very well located for my family and I so I do appreciate this. The facility was clean and accessibility was really nice. I did lose my gloves there though....
