The location was great. Only 10 mins walk from the train station and walking distance to most tourist attractions. The room had a washing machine with facilities to hang the clothes dry. Bathrooms had all amenities and was squeaky clean

AustraliaRoom temperature but I had that problem everywhere in Japan. The hotel is also not in the centre of the town, probably 15-20 mins walk to the river.
The room was a lot bigger than what I was expecting, plus there was a sink and stovetop, and a washing machine. I remember liking the layout because the toilet was separate to the bathroom. There's also a 7/11 across the road and its about 10 minutes walk from the station.

FranceInsufficient parking lots which are reserved very fast.
We stayed in the room which has 2 doubles and 2 single bunk beds - its beautifully designed. We know abit about furnishings and the room finishing is all top class, the rubbish bin alone is almost USD $300 and the bidet almost USD 800 .. haha. We like the foot lights, the heater in the bathroom/laundry room, the dehumidifier, the microwave etc - smallish but clean and comfortable. We had to park off site as the hotel parking lot is very small and fully reserved. Thats alright as the paraca parking lot is just 5 min walk away and is inexpensive. We are within walking distance of the old city, the morning markets and the stroll is very pleasant.

SingaporeLocation is within 10 mins walk from Takayama station. Opposite the hotel is a 7-Eleven which is so convenient for us especially on the day that it snowed. Room is big enough for 5 adults. The WC (toilet bowl) is in a separate room from the shower, which allows 2 people to use 2 facilities at the same time. We love the washing machine and the heating in the shower room helps to dry our clothes. The hotel is within walking distance to the old town which is on the East side of the train station.

NetherlandsWe checked the check in time on booking.com beforehand and it said until midnight. When we arrived at 11pm it turned out the reception was already closed since 10pm. Check-in had to be done with a self check-in, but we didn’t receive the details to enter before we arrived. Eventually we managed by calling an emergency number, but this caused it to be a very stressful check in.
The rooms are very spacious and clean. They even have a kitchenette and washing machine :)

Looking back, we should've booked 2 rooms instead. Beds were enough but luggage space was our issue. This is more on us though.
10 minute walk from JR Takayama Station and Nohi Bus Station. 7/11 right across the hotel. Modern family-style rooms. We were able to send our luggage to FAV from another hotel. We were able to buy groceries, keep them in the refrigerator, and cook at the hotel room.

MalaysiaParking at the facility is limited at ¥1000 per day. However, there’s a nearby parking that charges ¥300 from 8:00pm to 10:00am, which is a bargain.
Spacious for Japanese standard. Fully equipped with facilities such as washer and bathroom dryer. The shower is separate from the bath tub, which is a plus point if you’re travelling with the elderly. They also provided a stool for you to use, just like in the Onsen. The kitchenette is well equipped, and there’s a table for two where you can have dinner comfortably. 7e is across the road, a clothing mall is just opposite the hotel. Food market (Boss Food Market) is nearby, and a huge Nitori is also nearby. Restaurants are aplenty. Cleanliness is top notch.
