We reserved a four person private room and everything was very clean and operational. All common spaces (kitchen, bathroom, shower) were well maintained. Acchi was very friendly and even let us leave our bags for a few hours after we checked out so we wouldn’t have to lug them around in the rain. Great value and stay!

The location was a short walk from the main station in Nagoya. The bar on the main floor was very welcoming. The sleeping area was very clean and the bed was comfy.

I love everything. Probably I just only had a little struggle in carrying my luggages to 3rd floor since it has no elevator.

It'a clean, peaceful, great location, close to nagoya station and the owner is good in english and is very friendly! I would like to rate it 11/10

I liked everything.

Wonderful staff, clean facilities and 10mins walk to Nagoya station. On my first night at Glocal, Icchan (the owner) invited me to join the staff and some other guests to a baseball game he had free tickets to. The game was great and everyone was so friendly! The dorms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable with a good amount of privacy, and the kitchen had everything you needed to cook with. I have great memories at this hostel and will definitely stay again the next time I'm in Nagoya!

Great location (close to the main train station), amazing & nice host. Fully equipped kitchen, several showers and toilets so no issue with waiting time. Bar downstairs so you can eat & drink too.

I have read the reviews before booking this property and everyone said the owner was super welcome and friendly. And it was true! I felt at home during my stay at Glocal. Even though I didn't spend much time at the property, I got everything I needed here. The facilities and the amenities are top notch. Will definitely stay at Glocal again when I visit Nagoya next time. Thank you, Icchan and team!

The only thing that could have improved it would be if the hostel bar/cafe would be open during the week. It looked so great but wasn't open at all during my stay so I never got to use it. It used to be open more before COVID, but I think now if it started to open people.would come, not least the guests themselves! I would definitely have had my coffee/breakfast there and possibly drinks at night if I could!

One of the best hostels I've ever been to. Got everything right. Really lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Really well thought out, well designed, comfortable space, great beds with good privacy curtains and lighting. All the facilities were amazing and worked well -kitchen, bathroom, showers. Everything was exceptionally clean. The vibe was so good too, the whole philosophy of the place is abojt making connections and I definitely made new friends there. The owner even invited me along on a group day out with other hostel guests and staff to a festival which was so much fun.
