  • Leopold Hotel Review score: 10

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this hotel. It's an unusual building full of character. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful with ideas on things to do in town. The Hotel is in an excellent location and only a short walk from the train station.”

  • Ye Olde Nags Head Review score: 9

“Location was great, right in the middle of Castleton which was really buzzing as it was a bank holiday weekend. Staff were really friendly and helpful despite it being so busy. Brilliant and generous breakfast included in the rate with lots of choice, the best eggs royale! Plus they serve it until 11 am and they’re open to the public for it so you don’t have to stay there to get it. We also ate dinner there on a couple of nights and that was lovely too.”

  • Mercure Sheffield Parkway Review score: 9

“Easy parking, charming staff, lovely dinner in comfortable location.”

  • Jonas Hotel Review score: 8

“Very clean, helpful lady at reception, kitchen area on each floor, room small, bed a little cramped and not the best mattress but overall a great deal for the price.”

  • Macclesfield Lodge Review score: 4

“Good location for the town centre, although the very long flight of cobbled steps to reach the street if walking from the station might not suit some older folk. They were lethal to get back down in the rain with bags.”

  • “Great location. Clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. Really liked the lounge area. Room was good value”

  • “Perfect location if you want to visit Sheffield town centre. The pool could have been better maintained, but the dining experience was nice. The breakfast range needs a little more attention.”
