Beautifully decorated rooms. Very clean. Super friendly owner. Excellent stay.For your information: There is a set of stairs to the rooms and no elevator. So keep that in mind, if you have problems with mobility.

Just A maz ING !!! What a treat to stay. A wonderful welcoming place in the centre of Napier. Close by the sea, the beach, the beautiful boulevard, the restaurants and the shops. It immediately felt like home. Esther and Tom are the most lovely hosts, you’ll may experience. Nothing is too much trouble, just perfect in every way. Esther has amazing home cooking and fresh baking available for the mornings and afternoon. They are also full of local knowledge and trivia, if you need any recommendation for visiting places in the area. The house and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Fantastic bathrooms with walk-in shower, heated floors and luxurious toiletries. So many lovely things are presented, like homemade cakes or cookies when you arrive back at home in the afternoon. Freshly made, fruit salads, cakes, jams, and bread in the morning with the choice of either cooked or continental breakfast. Drinking tea or wine in the afternoon with all sorts of freshly made nibbles. Port and chocolates at bedtime. We’ve stayed at many 5 star accomodations in the world , but this place is so much more…… Words fail us; you have to see and experience it for yourself! Therefore, we would encourage anyone visiting Napier in New Zealand to treat themselves to this quintessential experience. Our stay at this luxury accomodation, 415 Marine Parade was definitely one of the most memorable stays of our holiday in New Zealand. It was sad to move on, but we will definitely return to this place when we return to NZ. Esther and Tom, thank you for your generous hospitality. XXX R&B

Had some bad luck as Cyclone Gabrielle hit right when we were staying here. Power was out, there was no cell reception and Napier was completely cut-off (there was no way in or out of the city). Greg and Wendy were extremely accommodating and gracious hosts, letting us stay at the apartment 2 days past our booking dates with no prior notice and providing us with a radio so we could stay informed. They were incredibly kind hosts during a very stressful period of our holiday! On top of that, having spent a lot of time in the apartment (as there was not much else to do during the power outage), it is a truly great place to stay. A very cosy apartment, tastefully decorated within the art deco theme Napier is known for and stocked with plenty of board games and other amenities to keep you entertained and to ensure a pleasant stay. Additionally, upon arrival we found that there was a spiced bread, jellies and butter waiting for us, which was a very nice touch. 100% would stay again!

Wonderful accommodation! Breakfast was extremely thoughtful and delicious. The whole stay exceeded our expectations. Views from the room are incredible, especially if you catch the sunrise. Location is great, can walk to centre of town. Do note: the driveway is very steep and long (it is a shared driveway for multiple houses) so walking back up may be difficult for some. This was our best accommodation in New Zealand. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks Maree and Mike (and Dougal)!

We loved everything. Kitty is a wonderful, friendly helpful host. Her breakfasts are amazing with the best homemade breads, particularly our favorite sourdough. Our cozy cottage had everything we needed, and the big beautiful pool surrounded by banks of flowers was so refreshing and welcome. Don't miss the good walk up to Bluff Hill for spectacular views of the port, town, and ocean. Walking down to town and back up may seem a challenge, but it's not. We did it several times. If you are a dog lover you will get an enthusiastic greeting from two adorable tiny Miniature schnauzers! We can't wait for a return visit.
