We were hungry, and without telling we got directly informed about all the options, incl. ordering Pizza for us and bringing it to the room. (But of course, we went to the restaurant, which she booked for us). Breakfast is incredible! Enjoy the full taste of the orange (local oranges). All the breakfast products are from the Azores. While/After breakfast, do you day plans in cooperation with the staff. We were here off-season and wanted to do whale watching. They organised it for us. Beautiful view from the breakfast and the Miradouro next to the parking lots. We do recommend 1000%.

The owner was very friendly and even upgraded us without request to a bigger room with an amazing view! She also had handy recommendations for dinner that were delicious!

Within a 10-minute walk guests will find the natural swimming pools of Madalena and the world heritage vineyards. Pico Airport is 11 Km away. Amazing place! One of the most beautiful hostels I have ever been. Nice, well equipped and clean common kitchen. Common areas well organized and clean. Nice and comfortablem room. I would strongly reccomend "Calma do Mar" hostel.

The view from the flat was amazing and thanks to the nice garden we were able to have our meals outside almost everyday. Adelina was also very welcoming and helpful. You are going to love the two sweet cats too!
