Hôtel Le Château Fort is a unique medieval fortress located in Sedan. It offers soundproofed rooms and suites with free Wi-Fi and a private bathroom, cable TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Was a unique experience to stay in the top of a castle. Our room had a door that opened onto the ramparts allowing us to walk around in the evening. It was off season so hardly any other guests there. Restaurant and bar were closed but a short drive put us at a recommended restaurant. The room was modern and comfy and quiet.

It was very clean; our room & bathroom were large & well-appointed; the location was nice; the bed was comfortable; the flowers in the window-boxes were lovely; the buffet breakfast was wonderful; the manager was friendly & courteous, although we didn’t speak the same languages.

We used the diner in the hotel, quality and taste of the meal was perfect, good chef! Staff was helpful and friendly. Next morning we used the Spa facilities, over here we found the same quality of design and cleanliness as in the rest of the hotel. Overall a great place to stay and to return in the future!

The rooms were spacious and everything were of excellent quality. Communication with the host was excellent. The location was perfect for exploring the Ardennes in France and Belgium. Two large supermarkets were within walking distance making it more convenient.

The location is within walking distance to the centre of Sedan and its marvellous castle. Easy parking and lovely views of the river. A great and very helpful host.
