The staff, decorating/style, warm welcome and warm rooms. Fireplaces. FOOD! The grounds. I arrived with an injured foot and was met with concern and given a ground floor room. Could not fault this place and it’s my favourite place so far. We will be back!

Excellent base for exploring the Northern Highlands. Excellent value for money. At this price in this location the only cheaper options are hostel or bunkhouse dormitory beds. Very friendly reception staff at check in and check out. For sure the room looked a bit dated but it was warm, comfortable and everything worked fine - couldn't ask for more at £40 a night.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Also the staff was very friendly. Regrettably, we really only stayed there for a night as we arrived there very late and the next day we had to continue our journey. We definately want to go back there and try their restaurant and explore the neighburhood.

Incredible staff. Felt like royalty staying here. Assumed this was a mediocre stay and was completely overwhelmed by lovely refurbishment with stunning loch side view, staff that went above and beyond and were hugely passionate about their beautiful boutiquey hotel, and ate some of the finest food I've ever had in a hotel. 20 out of 10!
