Nothing to not love about this apartment and location

Stamata communicated excellently to the day we arrived and was incredibly flexible and accommodating us arriving early. The apartment was all that the pictures suggested and more with a beautiful welcome pack, daily cleaning and lovely outside seating area for eating and relaxing. Good provision for self catering too. Location of the apartment was perfect, walkable to village, ferry to Kimolos and plenty of local ambiance. Car hire available in village and regular bus service. Lovely selection of beaches walkable from the apartment and great location for sunrise and sunset. We would highly recommend Mantelena apartments and their host Stamata.

The accommodation was very nice and lovingly decorated. Everything was very clean and the terrace was beautiful and large. It was all very cozy. We received a welcome gift which was also replenished. It was a very nice stay all around.

The host Stamatia is great! She welcomed us at the arrival and did everything possible to make us feel comfortable even with the bad weather. The studio is pretty big and is equipped with everything you need. The apartment is tidy and the room is cleaned every day very carefully. Even if officially the breakfast is not included, Stamatia always leaves a basket full of sweet and salty stuff and in the fridge you can find water, beverages and juices, so that we never felt the need to have breakfast in a cafè. Also the kitchenette is well equipped, so that some evenings we could cook and prepare some easy dinner at home. Basic dressing and crockery is already provided. Each apartment has a private outer area with table, seats and deckchairs, which are really enjoyable from the morning for breakfast to the evening for dinner. Some areas are always shaded, so that you can whether enjoy the sun or relax in the shadow. Even though the house is sorrounded by trees and vegetation, there are very few insects and almost no mosquitos. The centre of Pollonia with its restaurants and services is only five minutes walk away, which is for sure a plus. The only winery of the island is also really close (three minutes by foot). We will come back for sure!

I stayed at Mantelena for a week with my 3 kids and partner and we had an amazing time. The owner went to welcome us and to open the apartament. The house was extremely clean and kept so for the whole stay (we had it cleaned every day and we had the towels chaged as needed). The house itself is very nice and big. We enjoyed it very much as well as the outside area. We had been welcomed by a nice basket with local products and received a lovely breakfast every morning. In addition sometimes we had also some gits from the garden (melon and other fruits. Would go back again straight away if we could.

Stamatia is a very capable host, attentive and welcoming to each of our needs. There is everything you need in the rooms, and cleanliness is a strength of this place. We were welcomed with a welcome box filled with many snacks and delicacies. The Mantelena Studios are situated in an ideal location, where you can enjoy peace and relaxation as well as walk around Pollonia and enjoy the beach and restaurants.

If you can find something to complain about in this apartment you must be a very very fussy person. We have no complaints at all.

We absolutely loved this apartment The bedroom was spacious the bed was comfortable The lounge dining area and kitchen was all in one place but there was plenty of room for two people to move around and at first we thought the furniture would be a little squashed but it worked perfectly and every single detail has been thought of and this apartment. The kitchen has three different types of making coffee there's a basket with coffee sugar milk cracker biscuits jams etc along with a lovely welcome pack which had biscuits etc in there also there was water in the fridge. Everything is top quality and the entire experience has been thought about the shower is big the towels are really nice the whole place is really clean and it's just a super easy apartment to live in. Small things that make a difference like a bucket to wash your bathing suit in a clothesline to hang everything out and a lovely balcony which had coverage from the sun and two options for seating, a table and lounge chairs. Everything was very comfortable. The air conditioning worked and the place was easy to cool down when you got home after a hot day. I was a little uncertain about staying here just because it was our first time in Milos and we really didn't know what places were like but this place was an absolute delight. Stamatia is amazing she is very friendly and helpful and has put together a whole list of different things that you can do while you're staying in Milos so it's really easy to work out where you want to go and what you can see and do there. She claims everyday so you come home to a beautiful clean apartment with the bed made and fresh towels and it was just an absolute pleasure to stay here. It was great that she was also able to give us advice on a few things around the plays like which supermarkets to go to and she also was amazing with helping us to find a car to hire.

Nothing really disliked us. Knowing it was Greece, Cyclades, Milos, August, we found litle bit pricey.

We had a wonderful stay at Mantelena. Stamatia is a super host, was really helpful on everything we needed, providing us recommendations to visit Milos and making our stay very warm and familiar. We stayed with two teens and apartment is very confortable for a several days stay. Location is 5mn from center of village by walk, so very convenient.

It had everything we could possibly need and was beautifully presented. The outdoor area was also great. The property was so peaceful, it was nice to come home to each day. But most of all, Stamattia was just lovely to talk to and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay and the appartment has everything you're looking for. It is big, very comfortable, well decorated, with a nice outside area. Located in Polonia, it is perfect to walk.for dinner in one of the many delicious restaurants nearby. But what we enjoyed maybe the most was our host, Stamatia. She was exceptional and extremely kind, always there to provide help or advice about anything you would need. The little attention, for example like homemade cakes or tasteful melon found in the kitchen everyday for tomorrow's breakfast were really appreciated. We would 100% recommend!!! Thanks for an amazing stay.

Beautiful location, whilst no sea views, the rooms are surrounded by vineyards and trees which create a quiet, cool space. Rooms are comfortable, clean and have all the amenities one requires. The hostess is welcoming and goes above and beyond in assisting with questions and providing guidance on the village.
