The complementary breakfast was not not upto the mark. Items were very limited. Breakfast starts at 7:30AM and if you reach to the lobby by 8:00AM, mostly you will not get anything . They had some serials and milk (half a gallon). They have a few muffins and eggs, Coffee too. That’s all the breakfast. And if you are a non breakfast eater , then this is a good place to stay somewhere closer to the Lake Tahoe. Little bit pricey though.

Rooms were neat. Bathrooms were neat and clean. Towels were neat and clean. Quite area and surroundings.

The four pillows per bed were very thick and not that comfortable. The refrigerator worked and kept things cold but it wiggled. The freezer didn't freeze a 1/2 bottle of water left in there overnight. The $100 cleaning fee charged to our credit card until they could verify we had left all things in order after our departure.

The room was large with a comfortable chair as well as a table and another chair. There were plenty of plug-ins. The shower was delightfully warm with an even spray. The people at the front desk were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was light and varied. The wooden vanity in the bathroom was attractive. It was a central location for many interesting sites.

Beware if you are a smoker of any sort this place does not allow you to smoke in your car, the parking lot or rooms. That includes vaping. Just an FYI

I do wish that we could have been given the breakfast voucher. We had to check out at 7:30 and were told that we had to wait until 8 to receive the breakfast.

The staff is amazing. The room was nice, clean, large, with good wifi. The location is excellent with lots of food and bar options around, plentiful parking, and close driving distance to Lake Tahoe.

It’s an older property and the rooms while nice are a little bit dated with a noisy heater. I don’t believe there is an elevator for the second story which might be a problem for some guests.

It’s conveniently located in downtown Gardnerville and has a dedicated outside parking lot for the building so you don’t have to park on the street. They offer a free continental breakfast which at this time during Covid they were utilizing a bakery next-door to give you a muffin in a hard boiled egg etc.…

The room didn't have any overhead lighting and the only lamps were the bedside lamps, so the room felt quite dark. The heating unit was sufficient but only had a manual control, so I had to get up a couple times during the night to turn it either on or off to avoid overheating or getting too cold. The wifi was quite slow for us -- probably enough to check emails and download some small attachments, but probably not fast enough for any streaming services.

Overall a very solid stay. I would stay again. The staff was very friendly checking us in. The location was very central within Gardnerville with good restaurant/bar options within walking distance or a short (5 min) drive. Gardnerville on the whole is right on the 395 so very convenient within Carson Valley. We stayed here for a ski getaway, and the property was relatively close to Heavenly and Kirkwood (about 45 min drive).

Location! Across from JT’s Basque restaurant and the antique mall. Nice clean room fully loaded with microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker. Nice employees and really nice lobby with continental breakfast. Lots of parking and near a big park.
