The room was facing the parking lot and there was a bright light outside. It was a little bit noisy in the morning with the cleaning people and others coming and going but not constant noise.

It was conveniently located near the center of the city which was the main goal; and a good price.

The motel is in a busy commercial area (this is both good & bad).

The woman working the desk when we checked in was outstanding. Our heater did not initially work, & she came upstairs to get it going. The road stretching north of the motel has a variety of food options.

There was a huge hole in the back of the bathroom door. I noticed immediately after check-in and notified the front desk. It looked as if someone punched the door with their fist.

Great area- close to many stores and restaurants The parking lot is a little weird because it’s shared with other businesses behind the hotel. They did have extra lighting out there which made it feel safer at night.

Some of the towels had stains. There were not enough people to serve the breakfast. I needed to wait 15 minutes for them to bring more food out, Tresa the lady who served the breakfast was the nicest ever. She was working too hard to make us happy. It was a lot of work and stress, but she was smiling all the time. She made my morning bright :) Also, I asked for more body wash and they gave me used expired body wash 🤢

Our room type was switched even after calling ahead two hours before arrival and confirming with the front desk. They confirmed we would be receiving a king room, said nothing to us at check-in, and we were given a double "queen" room (actually full size, not queen). When we called the front desk they said they didn't have any king rooms for us, even though they'd spoken with us earlier (and acknowledged they'd spoken with us earlier, but told us it doesn't matter). Reservations should actually mean something, but that seems to be the case less and less these days. Carpet in the room was absolutely filthy — stained and bits of stuff all over. Otherwise the room seemed clean, but very glad we had socks, because we wouldn't have wanted to walk barefoot on those floors. Not nearly enough seating in the breakfast area; we ended up sharing a table with another couple that fortunately didn't mind letting us sit with them.

General facilities were lovely, modern, and clean. Beds were comfortable and clean, bathroom was clean. Toiletries were plentiful. Breakfast was well rounded, hot, and tasty. Very large mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room.

I say update from carpet to laminate flooring, need exhaust system in the bathroom and make sure to have the correct label for the pork sausage. It had turkey sausage but really it was pork sausage.
