Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The toilet stool was loose. The toilet flushed gallons of water but did not flush away solids. lady on reception was mad that I had written the problem on a corporate handout. Asked for it to be repaired or moved to a different room. Was moved next door.

A staff member checked us out before we were done. We went to breakfast after taking our things to the car. The front staff said we were already checked out. Was planning on returning to the room after eating. RUDE!
Conveniently located. Was given a second floor room at check in, but front staff changed it to a ground floor quickly and with a smile. Thank you.

Evertything was very good. If in the area will stay there again.

Wasn’t as clean as I thought it should be. The carpet was sticky. The shower wasn’t very clean had hair stuck to it. Dirty towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door.

Pool furniture old and flimsy. Parking lot had large holes. Floors in room need to be shampooed. Musty smell. Pool ladder is cracked and dangerous.

During the cleaning process, there was a little bit of residue left over. Maybe it is a particular cleaning brand you are using. There seemed to be a bit of oiliness on the table and floors. Some of the old repairs on the walls and doors were quite noticable, however did not impact my stay.
The location was safe and well lit at night. Minimal sounds from neighbors. I never worried about my safety. Parking was plentiful as well. Check in and check out process was very professional and seamless. I would say it's better than some of the 4 star hotels in the area.

The price was very good. The location just off the bridge was perfect for our one night stay to attend an event at College of Charleston with my daughter. The room was clean and beds were comfortable.

Taking care of maintenance.
Everything was fine except the tub and shower had no knob to turn on the water, I told them at the desk, nothing was done while we were there.

Only complaint was that breakfast was supposed to be until 9AM and the woman working cleanup would dump the coffee at 8:30 every day, she was pretty rude and short about it too which is the only reason I even complain

The toilet in our room was the size of a kindergarten toilet. Very low to the ground. The toilet was running and wouldn't flush when we first entered the room. I called front desk for housekeeping but after waiting almost an hour my husband fixed it.. Handle in shower was broken so you had nothing to hold onto getting out of tub. Tub was also very slippery and there was mold in the ceiling. Beds are hard as a brick. Not comfy at all. Disappointed there are not usb ports in the room.
Excellent location. Convenient to everything. Very good Breakfast with lots of options.
