Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesEverything was very good as expected from a Hyatt... HOWEVER, 1 room with two beds was specifically ordered. When arriving at 9pm, hotel informed me that there were no rooms with 2 normal beds of any size available...full + rollaway was closest. After a quiet but heated conversation with manager, she told me that no rooms are guaranteed when booked with a 3rd party vendor.... IF this is true and buried in the fine print legalese, Bookings needs to say that straight out in full view next to the bed selection line! I was forced to just live with the single bed room for 2 people.
Very nice (cashless) hotel with good employees. They do not accept legal US tender for any transactions except for tips....THEN cash is ok. Even IF this is legal it is an overtly political move.

United StatesThe tub drained very slowly. While taking a shower water accumulated up to my ankles. It made me uncomfortable because many others have used the tub.
Location, location, location! Access to good food and the beds were VERY comfortable.

United StatesI thought we book a room with an arch view and we could see the arch but it was not what I was expecting. Also Parking was a little worry some because we don't the area and we didn't know where the best place would be for overnight.
The parking was full so we had to park down the street. The room was nice but a little bare. The location was perfect to the stadium made walking there a breeze. We paid extra for the arch view and it was ok but not what we had expected.

United States• It wasn't very clean
• This may be the only hotel in St Louis with a good view of the Gateway Arch - that's why I chose it. Upgrade to an arch view room - it's worth it to see that magnificent monument every time you look out the window! • Right by the Gateway Arch and within a 5 minute walk of the baseball stadium and restaurants.

United StatesWe got two rooms and they put us on separate floors. The place was a maze, so you couldn’t just take stairs to the next floor. The place was full/busy so you had to wait ten-twenty minutes for the elevator. The valet was a complete disaster coming and going. There was no other parking choice. Took 20 minutes to get a server to notice you as well.
Location, clean, comfortable

United StatesSite said free parking, and we had to pay to park. No free breakfast or coffee. Paid for "upgrade" to corner room, that was not the corner. NO view of arch.
Great location. Clean. Close proximity to shopping and restaurants. Large rooms. Safe area.

United StatesUnloading and parking was a little bit of a cluster. But we came right at check in time. There was a home hockey game and a volleyball tournament~ which explained a lot... There were people everywhere. We did use the parking garage down the street ($25) as opposed to valet. That was a great spot. We like having access to our car. The hotel room was a little outdated but that didn't bother us too much. We would stay again!
Location! It was close to the Gateway Arch and that is why we were in STL. We were able to see it night walking back from dinner and then again at sunrise over the river. We had a 9am tram ride and that made it easy!!! We like being able to walk a few blocks to the Baseball Village.

United StatesWe weren’t told about the $75 per room deposit so we had $150 taken out of us and we didn’t have much money to spend while we were up there. The hotel said it would only be $375. That was the one thing that made our trip bad. Homeless everywhere made me sad
I like the city!

Pretty sure, it's always full regardless, so don't say you have self parking when u dont!!!!!! 25 dollars per person for breakfast each day. This should be included with hotel stay. Say will bring food to room if order from restaurant but wouldn't....
