Location, location, location makes this hotel an excellent value.

The location is excellent - everything is walkable and it's near the DOT trolley. The staff was very friendly, the room was large, everything worked. This hotel is an excellent value. Understand there's no bar, no restaurant, and even the lobby is small. But you're in the middle of walkable Savannah and the rooms are fine - you'll enjoy a comfortable stay but you're meals and entertainment will be elsewhere.

Planters Inn has deteriorated from pre-pandemic stays. No breakfast, no happy hour, no room service

No longer serves breakfast; there is no longer a wine and cheese in the afternoon; no room service; no vending machines; if you want a fridge in your room you need to ask for it; there is damp in the building

Room appeared dated/ tired. Carpet had spots on it.

The staff was excellent, gave great recommendations for dinner and breakfast. Location fabulous.

Could have been cleaned better. There were paint flakes from some painting and work they were doing on the carpet in our room and I felt the carpet was sticky and not as clean as I would expect. The closet ceiling was not intact and we could have used another luggage rack.

The location was excellent for walking everywhere we wanted to go. So easy to get around town. The staff was exceptional and very friendly. They gave us recommendations for sites and restaurants. It is a small old and historic building which is fun for us, but may not appeal to everyone. The bedding was very nice.

It’s due for a bit of a refresh. It’s well-used and some areas, like elevators for one and carpets for another… Don’t want to sound harsh. I’m just letting you know what I think.

Great location. Valet parking available. Furnishings were classic antique looking. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The rug behind the bed was dirty but they did vacuum it when I asked. I just don’t like rugs in hotels.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. They were very accommodating. The location is perfect for exploring Savannah.

No ice available except at front desk. Quite inconvenient. No refrigerator in room. Pillows not the most comfortable. Parking garage across the street was a source of irritating noise on several nights/mornings.

Location was great, in the heart of downtown Savannah and picturesque Reynolds Square. Room was nice old style.

Centrally located for everything that we planned. Anytime we asked for something they accommodated us immediately.

Beds were squeaky, the bathroom was quite worn (paint peeling off the wall, mold between the tiles in the bathroom), views were of a parking garage.

Beautiful building, incredibly helpful staff and walking distance to the river.

Although restaurants were a short walk away, I think breakfast should have been included for the price we paid. Apparently, that was the case in the past. We also had a shower faucet crack and break as well as elevator out of service. Each issue was addressed promptly and thoroughly.

Location was awesome. Room was inviting and cozy. Staff were very friendly and helpful with local activities.

Planters Inn was in a convenient location with a parking garage available right across the street. We had no problem walking wherever we wanted within the historic district. Also, since it was on Reynolds Square the streets weren't as busy as some other areas. Room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly.

The room was satisfactory, not quite clean but nothing worth asking them to fix. It took quite a while to checkin and get the car taken care of.

The hallways had a very strong food smell but once I got into the room, it smelled very clean. The carpet is a little outdated but clean.

The location was perfect for walking to all major attractions. Right next to the famous Pink House and nearby many delicious restaurants and nightlife. Self parking was convenient in the parking garage next door to save a few dollars or there was a valet if you'd prefer.
