It is a pet friendly hotel, which we love, however the cleanliness of the room could and should have been better. There was hairs still in the tub, on the floor, and sink area. We paid premium prices due to rod run going on at the time. We got the honeymoon suite with jacuzzi. I didn't mind the price but for that kind of money, it definitely should not have had to be cleaned by myself before we were able to enjoy it!

Loved the location and the old wooden themed building and rooms.

The rooms are pretty dated but very clean and smelled nice! The breakfast bar was not at all as advertised in the pictures. We had to get breakfast elsewhere. They only had cereal and muffins.

The location was great! Well lit parking and the river walk is directly behind it.

Breakfast options. The person in the front office must have had a long day, because we didn't feel welcome to check in. Its was more of a lets hurry up and check in so we can get out of there space. But, we understand that everyone has bad days. But we traveled for two hours, a slight, fake smile could have welcomed us.

Location was great! East walk to the Nike Store, The Island and restaurants. Also walking distance from The Pirates Show.

The only problem we had was the dog locked in the bathroom barked all day into the night.

King bed was warn out. Hot and cold in the shower was backward.

Rooms need alil updating...the chair in room was gross and floors were coming apart alil in certain spots.

The staff was horrible all around! From the minute I walked into the lobby to check in, during our stay and checking out and a few times seeing employees around the property, they were all very hateful. At check in, I didn't get a hello, welcome, or anything. I definitely didn't feel valued as a customer. I'd rather pay more somewhere else if this is how this particular hotel operates. I got looked at like I just cursed at them. Customer Service goes a long way. I love less than 2 hours away and come to the area quite often...honestly I don't believe I've ever been treated so badly at any other hotel/cabin rental,etc. My kids even asked me what the staffs problem was.

The price was fair, the rooms we booked were clean & the location was great.

The parking lot is very small

We like the location. We pretty much walked to everything. The Pirates show is pretty much next door and the island is a decent walk from the lodge. Everyone was pretty much polite and friendly. It was pretty quiet there too.

The small parking lot, if you come back after 8 it’s usually full with no parks left, we had to park at the pirate place and walk to our room multiple times, bring your own pillows. We did see a roach on our last day in the bathroom

You have to wait exactly at 4pm to check in.

The location is great! Family friendly, walking distance to The Island and other Pigeon Forge stores. Driving distance proximity to Gatlinburg and GSMNP. Lots of attractions and restaurants to choose from depending on your budget.

You could hear everything inside the room from the road. Rooms need to be seriously updated/remodeled (sink cracked, mold at base of shower, shower curtain to short, old bathroom fixtures and in bad places). Breakfast was meh...all sugar.

The closeness to Dollywood was awesome!

Obvious recent upgrades with new plumbing fixtures but we're obviously not installed by licensed plumbers. Let me state I used to do plumbing work. The toilet should not move or twist on the flange. It was not secure. The tub down spout should be secure and not pull away from the wall. Water is going to get in behind it and water must go some place .. and that will be to stain the ceiling from the room below. Overall the room was great. But use licensed plumbers and I'm sure the upgrade wasn't inspected. The walls are thin.. neighbors TV was loud so I shouted thru the wall to turn it down.

There were geese that stayed close to the room in the river and honked all night. That was the only thing bad and we understood that it is nature and we can't control nature.

Rooms were large and clean it had a gas fire place ,the timer ticking was annoying, it had a couch and a chair overall the rooms was nice and comfortable.
