The bed was really comfortable and the room very clean and well equipped. Thank you again for your hospitality. We felt like we were at home for a few days.

Lovely room and friendly hosts who gave us excellent recommendations for the local area. Would definitely stay again.

St Georges House is situated 8 minutes’ walk from Shanklin town centre and the rail station. From the property, it is a 5 minutes' walk to the cliff-top pathway, which leads down to the beach. This 4-star Victorian property just 2 minutes’ walk from the scenic views of Shanklin’s cliff-top path provides a calm get-away just for adults. Westbury Lodge offers free Wi-Fi throughout and modern en suite accommodation. A first-rate breakfast with plenty of choice and very well cooked. The fruit bowl and yoghurt were also well received. This is one of the best guest houses we have had the pleasure to stay in, and we will certainly stay again when we are next in Shanklin for a short stay. The owners are very friendly and know the island well, and they want to do their best to ensure you have an enjoyable stay.

All rooms have a private bathroom with fluffy towels and Duck Island toiletries. They also come with tea/coffee making facilities. Very friendly and nice staff. We had some problem in the online booking system but the staff very kindly and patiently guided us through it. The place was clean and quiet. The included breakfast was good to start the day. It was also close to the beach and near one of the bus stops, so we had no problem getting where we wanted to go from the hotel by bus. I would highly recommend this place to other travelers.
