Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United Kingdomthink its out of order that you book a room and have to pay seperatly for spa and then if theres no slots you cant go in ? ,what is the point of a spa hotel if you are not guaranteed to be able to use it .

Coffee was not a late as not enough milk and unfortunately the staff weren’t very attentive. Sat us down and never once came back to ask how our meal was, I felt it was very expensive for what we got

United KingdomLack of useful plugs in the room. Shower let the stay down, it didn’t need my expectations and wasn’t up to standard. There was also a light above the bath that didn’t have a cover and was exposed making it a health and safety issue.
The location was excellent. The grounds were beautiful and the hotel was very smart. The staff were friendly and very efficient. The breakfast was very good.

United KingdomThe twin room was not looked after the same as the king deluxe and was unclean. Very dusty. The tv’s need updating. The air conditioning is not great. Bedding was feathers which was surprising as I thought most decent hotels were hypoallergenic nowadays. I am allergic to feathers and broke out in a rash. The onsite restaurant for the evening meal was awful. Lots of waiting staff, not a full restaurant and yet service was extremely slow. Food was really below standard and overpriced. Ants all around the coffee machine in the morning.
The outside and grounds looked lovely, very luxurious. King size deluxe room was very spacious and the shower was good. Breakfast was nice but ran out of pastries quickly.

Well presented modern vibe to the whole hotel. Had an added luxury feel due to the spa. We had robes and slippers which I wasn’t expecting as I wasn’t using the spa facilities. Managed to get a decent upgrade to my room for not much more than the original price. The restaurant was lovely

United KingdomStaff were unwelcoming and not very accommodating which you wouldn’t expect for the price we paid for the room, we loved it the first time we stayed last year and unfortunately didn’t have the same experience this time around. Ie heads being down when walking up to front desk, short snappy answers when asking questions. There was a problem with our room (the toilet constantly flushing) which they kindly moved us to another room, however view wasn’t as nice and got us to trail all our bags back downstairs to go back to the same floor just accross the hallway. I think it would be nice to include swimming pool access for guests even if it’s just an hour a day, £20 per day per person seems expensive on top of the price point already paid

United KingdomMiss communication from staff at times. There were a lot of corridors to navigate in the hotel, not great if you have mobility issues or carrying several bags and/or children. This isn't explained in the advert to request a room closer to the lifts. There are a lot of stairs in the spa. We were told the lift was for staff only?
