No were to put toiletries in bathroom no shelfs ad to leave all toiletries on dressing tables towel rail was hanging off wall very poor

Our room had a really strong smell of gloss paint throughout our stay which resulted in me having the worst headache and not feeling 100%, we also had no shower as the tap had broken and the bath had hairs all in it.

The waiting time to check in they had 3 staff members checking people into the hotel but still had a long wait other people in the queue were getting very annoyed and agitated and we payed £35 for evening meals we went to the dining area to find the food that was supposed to be hot was very cold so we went back to reception for a refund and we went out of the hotel to eat else where

The que to check in was miles long, and I took over 25mins to get to the front! My room was very noisy all night. I must have had a generator outside or something!

Lack of maintenance could not get our room door open or closed even though I reported it twice.light in bedroom flashing all the time when switched on .man came on 2nd day fixed light then the other light went off.said he would come back next day never did. Notice on door in hotel saying toilet. Go through door both toilets boarded up been like that for over a year just put some tape over it save people getting stressed..

No extractor fan in the room, and the window didn’t open. So my ‘sea view’ misted up. The kettle didn’t switch itself off.

I liked the price, the quiet room, the clean bathroom, the breakfast.

The shower was dreadful..the head needed cleaning Things in the room were falling off the wall. The room was a little small. Husband said there was no real beer !

The hotel building is wonderful. The main staircase is beautiful. The location of the hotel is good. Lovely beach. The breakfasts were very nice and there was plenty.

Room very small no remote for TV so unable to watch.ensuite dirty shower rusty .green security light inside room on all night so kept awake by it .never known a security light inside a bed room before.view from window overlooking onto another roof that was full of debris.bed was not a double bed.pillows very hard.hassled outside of hotel from strangers/beggars asking for cigarettes .nighttime meal was superb apart from gateau for dessert .tasteless not nice

Rudeness of some staff. I was verbally told I would be refunded the cost of a day's accommodation following an incident where I was assigned a room that was not cleaned the previous occupant left and another incident of where I the tap in my room did not work and consequently I was not able to have my shower. The following morning when I was checking out, the manager denied that she did not agree to send me a refund. This was very shocking.

Some staffs were really rude but generally ok.

We had no hair dryer in our room had to go ask at reception When we opened the door it smelt strange door frame battered.. Felt every bed spring in mattress came home aching and very tierd from the uncomfortable bed.. no ventilation in the room as the window did not open.

In our group we had booked the same room a premium room but our room was so different, basically our room would have fitted in their bathroom, also we could not fit in the shower as it was a small cubicle size with a louvered door. It was very noisy and it only got quiet after 3am with people and children running around and shouting.We have paid the same elsewhere and had a lot better There was little information in the room about the facilities or restaurant. I loved the fact there was a meal that the Chef could make up freshly and separately for me as i unable to have buffet food for medical reasons, Compliments to the Chef as this was Greatly appreciated and was very nice indeed. It was hit and miss with the staff sone were very nice and helpful and some behaved like they didnt want to be there and you were inconveniencing them. I doubt we will be returning in the near future.

Loved the architecture of the building and liked seeing that they were trying to make the hotel better. The view from our room and the restaurant were exceptional.

I didn’t like the fact I got to my room and it was the size of a cupboard, the door kept creaking and banging when people walked past, we were happy there was a bath in the room until we seen all the rust around the jets and the edges of the seals, it also had what I describe as pubic hair in the bath which I had to clean out myself.

I like the location of the property pretty much right on the beach front

We choose a room with no window it was cheep and we don’t need anything else Not for the faint hearted sleeping underground with no window

Very busy and noisy , some not all of the staff didn’t appear to know what they were doing especially trying to book in after 3 attempts and getting my name wrong , then given the wrong information re car park . When we asked the following day about the parking the receptionist was very rude . Also , despite notices up asking people not to sit on the steps smoking at the front , there were lots of people sat blocking the entrance , one elderly lady had to walk to the far side to get in . Also no cleaners in the room , 2 night stay so no clean towels or replacement of tea and coffee .
