Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

A great little simple hotel in a nice location with easy access to transport links. The staff were also super friendly and helpful making for a really relaxed stay.

The location is very convenient and practical because it was 4 minutes away from the metro station.

The room had everything you needed but there was nowhere to put anything where I’d didn’t get in the way. The room needed upgrading and deep cleaning.

United KingdomThe kettle had water in it when I arrived and when I poured out the water, a lot of debris and what I hoped limescale came out. There were big bags of laundry piled in the corridor, which was somewhat of a health and safety hazard. Extra attention to detail concerning cleanliness (I.e clean household items- kettle etc.) would have made the stay that more pleasant.
The room was clean and above decent. It is the bathroom that was the saving grace of the room. The staff were nice though.

United KingdomThe coffee machine had old water in, and was either extremely dirty inside or mouldy. The door handle to the bathroom was loose. Peeling paint in a couple of places. Proper curtains over the external door would be a good touch, as it felt quite vulnerable.
Really nice bathroom, well stocked with soap, shampoo and shower gel. Good number of thick, clean towels, and a working towel rail. The lights can be turned off from almost anywhere in the room. Pleasant staff and a quick easy check in process.

United KingdomAlready on route to London and check in is from 2pm. Received an email 2.08pm to say relocating due to building work. I would have appreciated a phonecall or some notice as it was just by chance I checked my emails. I also don't feel building work is an adequate excuse as usually that requires notice.
Got relocated so have no idea what this hotel is like. I did however like the other NOX we got relocated to in Golders Green so I would super recommend staying there, as it was next door to a fresh bagel bakery, quiet and super clean.

The entrance door is huge and heavy and think it had dropped on its hinges so at first we thought it was locked, it was actually just very stiff The bathroom was nice but the sliding door was missing from the shower so the bathroom flooded when we showered

PortugalThere was nothing seriously dirty or disgusting, but the room could definitely be cleaner. Some spots, like the foldable table/shelf beneath the TV, are clearly overlooked. The lights on the side of the bed were malfunctioning and would flash randomly throughout the night. It was only on our second night that we realised the flashes were coming from inside the room and not from outside the window. Solved the problem by turning every switch off beside the one for the main light. Cleaning service didn't clean the bathroom or change the bed at any time, even though they came every day we were there. Didn't replace towels for new ones nor did they bring any more toilet paper. We ended up rationing what little toilet paper we had by our third and last night and until checkout. We could have asked for more paper at the reception desk, but it was late and we expected the cleaning services to have brought more since we had so little left. Maybe something to consider in the future.
Great location. Quiet and clean neighborhood, only a couple minutes walk away from Camden Market. The room had a kettle and a coffee machine, with both tea bags and coffee pods included. Staff was nice and polite.

New ZealandQuite small room for 3 adults and big luggage. Best as short stay.
Location to Belsize Underground. Easy walking distance with large bags. The Social, Premiere Inn serves a daily cooked buffet breakfast £10 great value. 10mins walk and past Underground. Friendly staff. Happy to provide extra coffee, milk and blankets. Early morning walk came across foxes! High end shops in the neighbouring Hamstead Hill area.
