Laminate floor was loose and a trip hazard, partner got a piece of loose wood stuck to foot. Floor wasn’t clean lots of fluff and dust when walking barefoot after shower.

On our second day we left the hotel for a days sightseeing and arrived back at 5pm to get changed for the evening. Our room had not been serviced, so dirty towels, unmade bed and bins not emptied. We went down to reception to report this but were told the house staff had gone home for the day and our bedroom had not been a priority as this is given to rooms where there is a changeover and new guests are arriving. I was very disappointed with this as it doesnt seem a valid reason for not servicing the room. Surely if we have paid the price per night our room should be serviced along with all others. Reception did arrange clean towels to be delivered to the room but we still ended up making our own bed and the bins were full and we were low on toilet rolls. The following day I doubled checked that this would not be happening again and the housekeeping staff assured me it would not..

Easy check in as we arrived early and our room was ready. Basic Ibis bedroom. Room was large enough and bed very comfortable as Ibis beds are quite firm which we like. We stayed 4 nights and every day the breakfast was delicious. Lovely fresh juices, fruits cereals plus continental choices plus full cooked breakfast. Excellent value for money The location is perfect for either catching the tube at Southwark station or walking up to Blackfriars Bridge and following the river for 10 minutes to reach Tate Modern or Globe theatre. Borough Market is approx 15 minute walk from the hotel

The reception staff never said hello when we came in through the doors in the afternoons or mornings. There were no cotton pads in the room and no conditioner in the shower. The view was not so nice. But overall, it was an awesome stay and the room was very clean.

Ibis Blackfriars was surprisingly great! Great location, right next to a street with plenty of nice restaurants, bars and grocery stores. Also right next to the subway that is super well connected. Very nice breakfast. Comfortable bed. Great shower pressure. Completely quiet at night. OK Wifi. Good room size. I have been in London many times and the hotels usually disappoint, but this was great. Would definitely stay here again!

Bathroom is a prefab unit that was awful and slippery. Room small and some horrible perfume cleaning smell that set off my allergies and stopped Mr sleeping. Plz put hypo allergenic stuff on the must dos!

Safe place and close to where I needed to be. Honestly no intention of returning. Bfast was miserable, cold eggs, tough bacon and expensive for what it was

The breakfast room was way too small for the amount of people, especially at the weekend. Our bathroom towels weren't replaced.

The rooms were basic, but comfortable and clean. The breakfast was fine too. It wasn't huge, but there was everything we wanted. The location was very central with lots of attractions at a walking distance.

There was a smell of drains in our bathroom and the sink drained slow, it put me off using the bathroom but luckily we were only there 1 night so reported it on the way out in the morning- hopefully they fixed it for the next guests!

Really great location for us visiting The Globe, staff were friendly and helpful and we received complimentary drinks.

This hotel is located a half block away from an Underground station which if you’re in London is the ideal way to get around. The hotel is just a few (2-3) walkable blocks away from the Thames River where the Tate Museum and Globe Theatre are located. Plenty of pubs in the area too.

My bed was a bit uncomfortable.....felt somewhat "hard". Strange bathroom.....but was clean and adequate.

Staff was very helpful in arranging taxis for us, which all arrived within a matter of minutes. Good location for going various places in London. No breakfast provided; but the one purchased was very adequate.
