“The idea of the "French" family was to find the American-style motel off the beaten path. So, we weren't disappointed. Close to Monterey, Carmel, and the 17 Mile Drive. The US-made motel is ideally located, with comfortable beds, spacious rooms, coffee maker... everything is perfect... with peace and quiet (in May). A big thank you to the reception team who connected us on the chat for our arrival.”

  • Monterey Pines Inn Review score: 10

“This was the third property I stayed in and because it was less expensive than the other two I wasn’t expecting much. How wrong I was, the room was clean, the bed comfortable and large, there was plenty of hot water with tea and coffee making facilities with the flannels folded in a beautiful pattern. Even though it was on the main road, traffic noise was minimal. The proprietor was friendly and helpful along with his staff. Being without a car wasn’t a handicap as there was a Whole foods supermarket a five minute walk away and a Thai restaurant another 3 minute walk in the other direction. I walked to Fisherman’s wharf and Cannery Row every day even though I could have taken the bus. Monterey Bay was my favourite place, I would certainly love to go back and or recommend it to my friends and I would definitely recommend Monterey Pines Inn.”

“Beautiful venue overseeing the see and very close to the center of the town. a good balance between the comfort of a grand hotel and the cosiness of a medium size hotel. Staff really incredibly kind and willing to make you enjoy the place. We loved it !”
